Exceptional views. We stayed 7 weeks. Very comfortable house, furniture, bedding,and outdoor furniture. Extra hangers and towels and blankets and pillows. All kitchen items available. Big fridge. Washer dryer dishwasher. Lots of closet and dresser space. Beautiful outdoor furniture and table even adirondacks at the beachfront. Excellent and fast communication. Even sent supplies that I asked for straight to the door. Right on the water. Sealions swam by daily. Beautiful location!!

We had a great time at the Seaside Getaway. It’s a very comfortable house in a fabulous location. Lots to do in the area too. We loved the huge patio and the quiet beach. Saw lots of wildlife including sea lions and an otter family. It was a perfect family vacation. Our host, Scott was available quickly for any questions we had. Highly recommend this property.

We had an amazing stay at Seaside Getaway (September 2025). It is right on the shore as the pictures show. Very picturesque with the islands in the distance. The home is spacious and comfortable. Scott was quickly responsive to any questions we had. We are looking forward to another stay.

Amazing location

We fell in love with this property as soon as we checked in. Right on the beach with huge windows facing the ocean and a large deck to enjoy a morning tea and an evening drink. Communication was good, everything was as advertised. We had a deer join us for breakfast and saw seals and otters at play. All of us would stay here again.

We had such a great time on our Moms trip away at Seaside Getaway! The house was just as it was described. Well equipped and comfortable. The view is to die for and we actually had the opportunity to see some humpback whales on our last day. Our weather was cooler, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the view from those comfy couches. Communication was great with Scott. We hope to be back next year!

Fantastic Location!

This is an amazing place - beautiful spot right on the beach! We kayaked every day from the clean and clear waters right off the front patio with lots of coastline and nearby islands to explore. The beach would be well suited to swimming, too, during the hot days of summer. The owner was very attentive to every detail to ensure we had what we needed to make this a great vacation.

Our stay was perfect! The property was beautiful. The evening swims were the best part. We left behind an item and it was easily arranged to get back to our possession after our stay. Much appreciated!

A little piece of paradise

My family and I stayed at this property and we truly enjoyed every minute. My kids searched for crabs all day and the sunsets were amazing! The property itself was updated and very clean! We had to replace a few supplies ourself but other then that we would 100% stay here again!

Amazing vacation

This is an amazing property. Gorgeous location. We brought SUPs and paddled in the water every day all around the bay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed. The new deck is fantastic with the best view in western Canada. The host answers back right away for any questions you might have. I can't wait to come back again in the future.

Island Getaway

The owner Scott and caretaker Tom were very friendly and offered top notch hospitality. The lactation was private and amazing views of wildlife right on your back deck overlooking the warm ocean. Family vacation

Exactly as advertised. From a wonderful pebble Beach. Good for swimming kayaking and paddle boarding fantastic views of the ocean and sunset. Seals and deer for nature lovers. the second bedroom. is quite small with a double bed so better for one person not a couple.

We found the house and everything in it was exceptionally clean, beds were very comfortable, and the view from the whole house was amazing. Scott communicated clearly and promptly. I would highly recommend this rental. Looking forward to booking again.

Perfect getaway place and setting

Our high expectations after seeing the listing were more than met! The view is spectacular with something to see all day and evening including seals and deer. The house is perfectly laid out to enjoy the view, attractive and comfortable and well stocked. Lots to do nearby if you can drag yourself from the view. Kids loved exploring the beach. The good: The view is amazing A stones throw to the water Seals playing entire trip right out front Plenty of room for larger parties Comfy beds Helpful friendly hosts The bad: (but not that bad just want to give an honest review) Could use a bit of a scrub down in less trafficked areas such as walls trim Had to get creative breaking our fresh caught crab as there are no crab crackers but we made do All in all we were very happy with this gem on the oceans doorstep and will definitely recommend to family and friends!

The interior third bedroom has a brand new bed and mattress, and we have painted the entire house from floor to ceiling. Sonja, I am very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. Your golfing getaway did not rise to the experience of others. We do have some wildlife in the area that loves to knock over unsecured garbage. When you notified us of the cart that had been knocked over, we immediately alerted our on-site contact to the issue, as well as your request for more toilet paper (sorry that we were not aware of any other issues with supplies, which we regularly re-stock). We did address your questions with them, and are securing refuse carts that should be more difficult for our animal “neighbors” to get into. We also did respond to your request about the four items of clothing that your group inadvertently left behind. We did look as soon as you notified us, and hope that the fact they could not be located did not negatively impact your experience. We really, really strive to make every guest’s visit as relaxing and stress-free as possible. Thank you, and I hope we can do better by you with a five-star stay in the future.

Pretty Awesome

I booked this property hoping for a nice quiet place that my wife and her Dad could enjoy on their birthday. The owner was absolutely fantastic in helping make it special. whether it was making way for an earlier check in or having some ciders in the fridge and some flowers on the table. By all accounts the trip was a huge success and the property was spectacular. If you're looking for beach front you can t get much closer/better than this. When they arrived the tide was high and a storm was brewing. Made for some excitement as they got to watch the wind and water dance from the front row. Thanks again and we'll be sure to keep you in mind in the future.

Fun for a girls getaway!

My girlfriends and I enjoyed this beautiful spot for 4 nights. The sunsets and location is absolutely beautiful and private. We saw otters, seals and a bald eagle came to visit a few times. There were some minor problems when we first arrived that Scott did his best to solve- the lovely champagne delivered to our door the second night, helped us forget all of the inconveniences and celebrate in style! Overall, we had a great visit and a great stay on Nanoose Bay!

Loved our stay at this location. Can’t beat the ocean view. Incredibly relaxing place to stay for a couple of days. The family really enjoyed seeing all the eagles and seals visible from the house. Very quiet spot which was exactly what we were looking for.

Perfect location for tide-pooling and sea lion viewings!

The location could not be better. It’s quiet and remote and gorgeous. The new Sea Scapes restaurant is right around the corner (short walk or kayak trip) and excellent too. We found all the hiking trails and beaches we wanted to see less than a 30 min drive away, but the beach in our backyard was so amazing we could have stayed put everyday enjoying all that nature had to offer. The indoor living space definitely had a cozy lived in feel. Overall, an excellent rental on a beautiful part of the island.

All about the knives and the views

The tranquility of the home and beach was amazing…peaceful and enjoyable…layout of the home was perfect for 6 people… everyone enjoyed the stay & the beautiful views….selection of knifes made for ease when slicing, dicing and preparing of our meals…. #knives We came for the knives.
