Check in was extremely easy. Communication was great. We had a wonderful time in Bend and we love the location of broken top. It is quiet and the grounds are beautiful. Anything you need is no more than 10 minutes away. We would stay there again.
This was a clean, quiet place in a convenient location to NW Crossing and downtown Bend. The garage was useful for storing our bikes. Would stay here again.
We came to Bend to do some work a the OSU campus. The condo was a perfect fit. Clean, great location and it has everything you need for a short stay. Thanks
Reunion with my sister. The place was really convenient to Mt Batchelor. Very quiet and love having a garage. We didn't find the hairdryer, but is was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend
The place was very quaint and peaceful. The surrounding area was also beautiful. Close to everything like the way it was advertised. We will be back Bend!
My brother and I stayed here for a weekend of mountain biking and golf. This was a perfect location because we could walk into town to rent the bikes, and still just a 2-3 mile ride to Phil’s Trailhead or the KGB trail. The space was big, and it was great having a garage for our car and the bikes. Would definitely stay here again.
We were looking for something close to my mom and step dads home and to actually find something right down the street was amazing and so convenient. It was my moms and nieces birthday so we all wanted to be close. Tge place was very clean and fully stocked. Great communication, easy to get into the house, large garage for a full size truck. Will definitely stay there again.
This was a great place to stay for 2 couples or maybe a small family. Super clean and everything you need was provided but I will say it's best if you have your own car. Uber and food deliveries had a hard time getting in the gates sometimes but that's almost to be expected in such a nice gated area! Would stay again!
Property was perfect for my family’s needs, we immersed ourselves in the Broken Top community, its close to anything and everything

Overall was a pretty disappointing experience.
Positives: Good location if you want a short commute to downtown Bend.
Negatives: Upon arrival, the downstairs area was freezing cold and the upstairs was extremely warm. We spent the first evening/night trying to regulate the temperature and after a while we worked-out that the thermostat was not working at all. Not ideal in 90+ degree weather. I advised the manager and was told via text that it will be fixed the week after we depart.
We also had the unwelcome surprise of wet hand-towels in one bathroom that also had human hair in them. Was not a pleasant experience and set the tone for our stay.
Over the 48hours that we spent in the property, we kept encountering more and more things that suggested the property was not cleaned thoroughly prior to our arrival.
Finally, we discovered that we were unwelcome at the community pool and although pool access is not mentioned in the listing, we naively expected it would be accessible...
So for anyone planning to stay here note that none of the Broken Top facilities are accessible to you. In the end, we were fed-up and decided to leave half-way through our stay.

Response from VrboOwner on 4 Aug 2021
As we do before every guest, we inspect after the cleaners. Bluntly, we did not notice the issue with the hand towel, which is surprising, but certainly not the a result of being flippant about the unit's cleanliness. As for the other references to unspecified issues with the cleanliness, it's hard to respond, other than to point out that the property has never been called out to be anything other than notably clean. We do apologize it was found to be dissatisfactory for this stay.
We had a temporary fix applied to the AC during the extreme heat wave, while we waited for a final repair. This situation impacted 3-4 guest parties. We felt it was reasonably under control, and the appropriate action to take, as we did not get negative feedback from the others.
We're sorry that you were surprised about the pool. Entering the summer, the COVID protocol meant the pool was still not available. We had no choice but to NOT advertise the pool was an amenity at the time the reservation was made.
