Whether your perfect vacation includes boating adventures, peaceful mornings with coffee overlooking the water, family game nights, or simply disconnecting from the crowds, this home delivers a truly relaxing coastal experience.
Watersports activity from Corolla and Duck can be seen right from the property, bringing the energy of the Outer Banks to your doorstep while allowing you to retreat back to your own peaceful escape. The Wright Memorial Bridge is approximately 15 miles away, making day trips to OBX attractions easy and convenient. The main living level was designed for gathering and unwinding. The spacious kitchen features custom hickory cabinetry, granite countertops, and plenty of room for preparing family meals. Nearby, the dining area comfortably seats large groups and flows seamlessly into the living room, where a stunning three dimensional gas fireplace creates a warm and inviting atmosphere during cooler months. Rich Philippine mahogany flooring adds warmth and character throughout the space.
When it is time to slow down, step outside to the expansive screened porch or front deck overlooking the Currituck Sound. Adirondack seating and panoramic water views create the perfect setting for morning coffee, sunset cocktails, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. This first level includes two King bedrooms and a full bathroom.
The second level continues the relaxing atmosphere with an additional King bedroom and another bedroom featuring two double beds connected by a shared full bathroom. Above the garage, the rec room is built for entertainment with a pool table, foosball table, surround sound system, wet bar, large flat screen TV, two Queen sleeper sofas, and another full bath. Large bay windows keep the sound views front and center even while indoors.
Outside, the experience only gets better. Enjoy beautiful waterfront views from the private pool area or unwind in the heated spa with optional waterfall feature. The private dock includes four jet ski launches, space for your boat, a furnished covered gazebo, fish cleaning station, and a small private soundfront beach area. Bring your own boat or jet skis and launch them next door at the Poplar Branch public access. From the dock, Duck and Corolla are only about a short boat ride away.
This is the kind of place where mornings feel slower, sunsets last longer, and family memories come naturally. Once you experience life on the Currituck Sound, you may never want to vacation any other way.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. Whether good or bad, we listen to our guests and take the information provided back to our team for improvement. I'm so glad you enjoyed the property. We look forward to your next visit!
My favorite thing was to be on the front porch with my coffee to watch the beautiful sunrise over the water.
The teens loved the game room.
Overall the best home we have stayed in during our annual family get togethers.

Thank you for your kind words! It’s wonderful to know our home made your family get-together special. We look forward to hosting you again!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The only complaint I have is the hot tub doesn’t work-it’s essentially a hot pool due to issues with the jets. The property is magical with dragonflys and frogs! Being next to the water you do have a lot of mosquitos and biting flies so take things to aid with that… we didn’t think about that and got some bug bites but that’s expected next to water. Very nice property with plenty of space for a large family!

Hi Danielle,
Thank you so much for the great review! We're glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and that the property provided plenty of space for your family. Being near the water does come with a few natural trade-offs like mosquitoes, so your tip about bringing bug spray is a good one for future guests. We’ll definitely check in on the hot tub jets. Hope to have you back again soon!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. The pool, hot tub, and view were amazing. It has something for everyone. We fished off the pier and paddleboarded in the Sound. There is a private beach area across from the property. I loved the screened in porch. Great communication with property managers. We will definitely be coming back.

Hi Tammy! We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. We hope to host you again in the future!
Overall, the property and the amenities were fabulous. Private boat dock, amazing porches, awesome pool for the kiddos to enjoy, large kitchen and tables, and space enough for everyone to spread out. Really enjoyed our stay, with a couple exceptions. Hot tub motor was broken (pool cleaners informed us why), lots of spiderwebs on the posts leading to the end of the boat dock and around the fish cleaning table (metal surfaces had significant rust and no running water to sink), lots of dust, pollen, and spiderwebs on screened in porch. Also, some televisions were not communicating with the DTV satellite and the multiple remote control setup on the televisions was more confusing than helpful. Finally, be aware that there are no extra towels for the bathrooms - everyone gets their own shrinkwrapped portion of towels and that's it! These minor inconveniences were just that - we enjoyed the space immensely and would stay again - hopefully with some of the finer points ironed out before we returned (especially for the price per night during the summer)!

Thank you for your review Devlyn, It sounds like you had a mostly enjoyable stay at the property, with some notable amenities and positives like the private boat dock, spacious kitchen, and pool that were highlights for your family. However, it's clear that there were several maintenance and convenience issues that detracted from your overall experience.
Issues such as the broken hot tub motor, spiderwebs around the dock and fish cleaning table, dust and pollen on the screened porch, and difficulties with television and remote controls are understandable frustrations, especially given the expectations for a comfortable and hassle-free vacation rental. Additionally, the limitation on towels and the setup with shrink-wrapped portions might have felt restrictive and inconvenient.
Your feedback about these issues is valuable not only for future guests but also for the property management or owner. Communicating these concerns in detail, along with any suggestions for improvement, can help ensure that these issues are addressed promptly and that future guests have a more enjoyable experience.
Despite these inconveniences, it's positive to hear that you still appreciated the space and amenities enough to consider returning, especially if these finer points are improved upon. This balanced feedback is constructive and may encourage the property managers to enhance their maintenance and hospitality standards.
Could not ask for more. This house is so charming, pool and hot tub are wonderful, boat dock is super convenient, and tons of food and beverage space! Also fun perk was the ice machine in the garage. Great time, will stay again.
The home was lovely and inviting! My family and I had a lovely time on the property and outside on the pier! Next time we’ll bring fishing poles to just enjoy the home even more! Definitely coming back. Pullout couch beds were even comfy!
