My sister and I had a wonderful time at this bach.. it was everything we had hoped for. The amenities were exceptional and the location was just right for us.. A short easy stroll to the beach even for us unfit 70 somethings!!All the facilities were of a high standard the bach was clean and easy to keep ordered... the outside area really came into its own as a the weather gods were not kind to the area for the time we were there..there was plenty to do ..ie card games books puzzles etc.We would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone looking for a relaxing easy break ..a real home away from home..we will be back..Cole was so easy to deal with and we exchanged several useful and warm e mails before we went on our holiday..Thank you Cole..Arohanui from Clare and Brenda.xxxxx
Spot on with Quintessential Kiwi! First impression is the generous outdoor space and how clean the back was on arrival, also very easy to keep the space clean. The Bach is equiped with all the essentials and matched our families relaxed vibes. There were no hassles and Cole was excellent to communicate with. Our first trip away from home travelling with our 14wk old and it was perfect Thanks for the wonderful stay
we really enjoyed our stay the outdoor fire was perfect we spent each night out there with it going and having the section fully fenced was perfect for kids to play without being close to the road .
Overall great stay, thoroughly loved the outdoor fire place. Place was clean and comfortable and nice to be within walking distance to the beach. Definitely recommend.
I'm an ocean and mountain lover and Te Koha is my dream. I hope you have as many happy and memorable times there as I have.
Why they chose this property
It's so typically Kiwi and just like our people, it's humble, honest and opens its heart to you from the moment you arrive. As part of my dream, for every night you stay, we gift a night to children who cannot afford this Kiwi iconic experience. That's why it's called Te Koha. Thank you for your contribution.
What makes this property unique
Everybody talks about the outside hot shower (we haven't used the inside one for 5 years), the outside fire to toast marshmallows and the 4 min walk to the beach. You decide :-)
