Fantastic family weekender

Awesome quiet location on a large block. Plenty of backyard cricket, barbecuing and sitting down by the fire pit. Would recommend replacing the BBQ but that aside, was a fantastic stay.

Quiet weekend away

A beautiful property in Glenlyon. The master ensuite was excellent with so much natural light. Had the fire going one night which was warm and cosy on a cold night. Could not of asked for a nicer place.

Brilliant property, quiet location

Love this house, it's clean and really well stocked with everything you could need. The bath is epic and the products provided are gorgeous. It's in a really lovely quiet location a short drive from Daylesford and Trentham. We will definitely be back. Do recommend!

Family Wedding

Morton House was the perfect place for a family to stay for before, during and after the wedding. There were little things that made all the difference- earl grey tea bags, large white towels, full size quality shampoo and conditioner and wood for the fire pit. The property comfortably slept 7 and we will return.

Great escape from the city

The house was lovely - great amount of space so we could spend time together, or take a break. The kitchen was well appointed, and the log fire was a winner! We had a lovely time. We enjoyed our walks and meeting the neighbours - alpacas, sheep and horses... Plus the roos at dusk. Looking forward to another escape soon.

Perfect country paradise

We had the most wonderful stay to celebrate our Mum’s 70th birthday. There was heaps of space, rooms were luxuriously cosy and the master bathroom was to die for what a bath & view! We had everything we needed, stocked with essentials and plenty of crockery to meet your needs, we really felt instantly at home. Short drive to Daylesford & we enjoyed being out of town. Lovely trees surrounding the house with plenty of local birds to keep us company. Thank you for your beautiful property.

A lovely spacious famiky home and property

Beautiful bathroom —- larger ensuite upstairs with main bedroom. Good views. Comfortable family home with good games and books. Well equipped kitchen. Good outside fire to use. Didn’t get to try the BBQ. The house has a large garden for younger ones to play in. A beautiful home in Glenlyon and close to Daylesford and surrounds. Glenlyon Store is a local popular cafe . In a word, LOVELY

First impressions count and opening the front door to this quiet, chic little house was such a nice start to our stay. The dogs loved bounding around the huge yard most of the time, if they weren't sunning themselves on the wide comfy deck, like we did. Attention to detail was noticed and it was a definite mix of welcoming warm, quirky peices and modern comfort. Instagram photos had a friend enquiring already and she's about to make a booking for her family so I'll continue to recommend this lovely lovely little gem..perfect long weekend mini break from.our busy Melbourne lives!

Great facilities which ordinarily I need to bring myself - games, books, bluetooth speaker, tv with netflix signed in and adequately stocked kitchen. Beautiful area for walking and generally a great comfortable and rewarding place to be.

Morton House Experience

We had a fabulous, relaxing time with family and friends and their pet dog. Plenty of outdoor space and fire pit was a great on a cool night. The house is comfortable and beautifully decorated. The wine and fresh flowers upon arrival, were lovely touch.
