Romance, relaxation and recreation await when you stay at Tender Moments. The 1-bedroom log cabin is surrounded by more than an acre of woodlands, so you can be sure of peace and privacy. At the same time, it’s just minutes from the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of galleries, studios, and shops, and from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike, bike, and ride horses among wildlife, wildflowers, and waterfalls. The restaurants and amusements of downtown Gatlinburg are less than 15 minutes away, and Dollywood is just a 20-minute drive.
Once you step inside the recently refurbished cabin, though, you might be tempted to spend most of your time there—it’s that charming and comfort-filled. With wood-planked walls and ceilings and plenty of windows to let in the fresh mountain breeze and the spectacular views, the interior of Tender Moments is everything you want in a Smoky Mountain cabin. The plush leather sofa is designed for nestling with that special someone as you watch a movie on the large flat-panel TV, play Scrabble at the coffee table, or linger over drinks by the stone-surround gas fireplace.
The dining table is ideal for a romantic dinner for 2, and there’s a breakfast bar where one of you can chop the vegetables while the other prepares the sauce for your gourmet meal… or where one of you can sit and chat while the other mixes up a batch of margaritas. The kitchen has all the appliances, gadgets, pots, pans, and tableware you need. There’s even a dishwasher because there’s nothing romantic about scrubbing plates!
You might want to bring those frosty margaritas out to the back deck. Thanks to the lack of competing lights, you’ll be dazzled by the abundance of stars in the night sky. Of course, the view in the daytime is magnificent too: Towering trees rustle in the breeze as eagles and falcons soar across the seemingly endless skies. Take it all in from the deck chairs or, better yet, from the hot tub. The singing of sparrows in the morning and the calls of owls at night are the perfect musical accompaniment to a languorous soak among the steaming, roiling waters.
You can savor a soak indoor too: The bedroom’s en-suite bathroom has a jetted tub that can fit 2, and it’s positioned beneath a picture window so that you can look out and relish the glorious view. In winter you can heighten the romance courtesy of the cabin’s 2nd gas fireplace, a double-sided one that faces both the bathroom and the bedroom. The bedroom is a true honeymoon suite: fireplace, luxurious king-size bed, flat-panel TV, seating area by a window, a fan hanging from the slanted ceiling…
As well as romantic luxuries, Tender Moments provides plenty of conveniences too. For instance, clean towels and an impeccably made-up bed will be waiting for you when you arrive, so you can leave your own linens at home. In fact, you can pack especially light, as the cabin has a washer and dryer. And should you have guests come over for dinner or drinks, you’ll appreciate the half-bathroom just off the dining area.
And then there’s the location! Because the cabin is equally close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, you’re just minutes away from so much to see and do: golf, an aquarium, white-water rafting, skiing, outlet shopping, fishing, go-karts, zip-lining…
However you decide to spend your days, you’ll love coming back to Tender Moments. Cater to your inner romantic, and make your reservation today!

This was such a cozy and clean cabin in the beautiful mountains with the changing leaves all around. Everything was user friendly and cozy and perfect for time alone together but also close to all the wonderful downtown activities. This was an absolute dream and we can’t wait to come back!
My daughter and I stayed at this cabin and spent nearly a week hiking in the Smokies and coming back to relax our sore muscles in the hot tub. It was the perfect vacation for us. I'm glad we got to spend it in such a beautiful area and in a very comfortable cabin.

This is our second year staying at this cabin. It’s a great place to rest and enjoy the area. Short drive to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. My husband and I highly recommend. Very clean and beautiful view of the cabins twinkling on the mountainside at night from the deck.
Very pleasant experience. Cabin was very clean. Check in/out was as simple as it gets. Location was perfect blend of being secluded yet being relatively close to everything. Would 100% recommend this cabin for couples looking to stay in the smokys
We enjoyed the quiet area. The cabin was clean and inviting. The clean process was easy and friendly. Would recommend replacement of broken couch in main room-not comfortable.
Tennessee has stole my heart! Our cabin was in the perfect location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. It wasn’t too high up in the mountains either.

We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us a 5-Star review.
Good stay. Comfortable aminities. The only thing i wish would be more TV channels when stuck in cabin. And maybe at least 1 or 2 pods or something to wash laundry. Otherwise I had a great stay. Only 20 to 30 mins to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. I spent most my time hiking or in downtow. Gatlinburg.
This cabin was perfect for our stay! We went away for a long weekend just to relax and unwind from the day to day of work. This cabin is spacious, yet feels very warm and welcoming. We spent quite a bit of time in the hot tub. The view is great - would be spectacular in the summer/fall.
The couch could use updating - it smells dirty and there is a big hole on one end which made it uncomfortable to sit and watch TV.
It was nice, perfect for two! Cozy and peaceful! I did find that the wifi did not work well. Little frustrating but not a deal breaker. Water pressure was lacking in the main bathroom, yet again, not a deal breaker.
The cabin was very clean and met all our expectations. Romantic and secluded. The cabin was easy to find and not too high up a mountain to make the drive in scary for city folks like us! The location is great, away from the busy strip, but close enough that getting to all the attractions doesnt take too long. The hottub was perfect for 2. I would suggest placing non-skid tread adhesives on the back porch and front steps, it was rainy when we were there and the wood on dek and steps gets very slippery. Other than that it was lovely! I will chose this cabin for our next trip!

Thanks, so much for sharing your experience with us. We are happy you enjoyed your stay. We look forward to seeing you again.
Very clean. A few cobwebs in the corners and dust on some of the fixtures but that’s being really picky. The cabin is easy to find, it’s very private when compared to most others and Gatlinburg is 10 min down the road. The pics on the listing are accurate and honest. It’s a great place for a couple. Had a very good stay there, everything works, had towels and tp. The hot tub and jacuzzi was clean, the shower is great and so are the gas fireplaces. So….its a solid pick to stay at.
Romance is apparent with the see through fireplace in the bedroom/bathroom and huge garden tube with the best view in the house. Plus the two person hot tub with the same view and total privacy. Nicely built cabin. Only would ask for the owners to please replace the couch! And perhaps some softer sheets so bring your own.
Speaking of bringing - this is standard setup so bring everything you want to consume or wash and dry with. But that is standard so no problem.
Love this place! Would and might come back.

Bittersweet Stay at Tender Moments
Our stay at Tender Moments was absolutely awesome. I titled this bittersweet as we left on the Friday before Gatlingburg's horrible fire. We don't know if Tender Moments made it through the fires ok but we pray it did. This little cabin is everything a couple needs whether young or old, celebrating any occasion and truly helps you get away and renew your relationship. We enjoyed not having cell service as we could go down the mountain just a short distance to handle any business. It was very refreshing to get "unplugged". I would recommend this property to anyone if it escaped the fire.

Gloria, thank you for posting such a refreshing review. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay and found pleasure in being unplugged. We want you to know that Tender Moments did survive the Gatlinburg Wildfires and is waiting your your next visit.
Property was beautiful with beautiful sights. The bed and couch were very uncomfortable as it seems they are broken. A bit much for paying for cleaning fee when we have to do dishes and take out trash. Should of left more towels for people who are staying week or longer. Tub had a smell when try to use it. Didn’t get a chance to use fireplace since it didn’t work
