Summary:
This two-storey home is large enough to house the whole extended family! It has stunning views of Lake Taupō that you can enjoy from the upstairs bedrooms and living area.
The Space:
This house has six bedrooms, hosting up to 12 guests in total. The beds have goose feathers duvet inners which are soft, light, and fluffy and will ensure you have a great night's sleep to wake up energized and rested to enjoy all Taupō has to offer.
The upper level has three bedrooms. One has a King-sized bed, the other a queen and the last room a king single bed with a single bed trundler also available. Downstairs has a room with a queen-sized bed and another has two single beds that can be left as is or pushed together to make a double. There is a small room with two single bunks that can also be used if required.
There is off-street parking and a large garage to keep your car, or any bikes and equipment you may have brought with you. Please note trailers are not allowed to be parked on the driveway.
Please note the fire place in the lounge is not included in the listing's amenities as it is not available for use.

The Neighborhood:
The property is in the Richmond Heights area of Taupō. At the bottom of the street are a handful of shops, including a dairy and bottle store.
It is a quick drive to the lake or town centre. At the bottom of the Richmond Heights hill is the ‘Two Mile Bay Sailing Club’ where you can enjoy a drink or pizza or take the Great Lake Pathway to walk around the beach front. Just around the corner is the ‘Taupō DeBretts Spa Resort’.
Other Things to Note:
When booking, please advise how many beds you require, and we will prepare that quantity for you. A highchair and baby cot may be available. Please enquire (bedding for the cot is not provided). Breakfast items are not provided but there is plenty of tea, coffee, and basic cooking necessities such as salt, pepper, and oil.
For the sake of our neighbours, noise must be kept indoors and to a minimum after 10pm. There are strict no parties, smoking or pets rules in all Be My Guest properties.
If you are booking this property on a platform other than Airbnb, an authorisation hold is required. This hold will be captured as a ‘preauthorisation of funds’ from your payment card, prior to arrival and will be auto released 2 days from check-out, so long as no damage or costs have been incurred. The 'hold' for this property is $250.
All Be My Guest linen comes from our professional linen supplier. It is thermally disinfected at temperatures high enough to eliminate germs and risks such as Covid-19. In order to keep the linen costs for your stay economical, we do not provide face cloths.
Interaction with Guests:
We have a key box and will provide the pin number 3 days before your check-in date.
If you need anything during your stay, please contact us through the app during regular business hours. If you have an emergency after hours, please call our after-hours number (number will be send with check-in instructions). Please ring, do not text as texts are not monitored.
