LAKE HOUSE in gorgeous Windermere, walking distance to the beach!

Welcome to the Tree House! This is a newly-renovated, large home of over 2,800sq ft on a maturely-landscaped, ¼-acre lot on Hilltop Drive above lake Windermere. The home features four bedrooms and three baths with sleeping for as many as 10 in beds with 2 additional mattresses for overflow sleeping. The home is perched in the trees on the lake hilltop; a short walk down the hill to the lake and the private beach (there is a trail behind the home to the lake). The home has a private buoy you can moor your boat on during your stay. The mooring is fairly shallow providing access to your boat in knee and sometimes thigh-high water off the sandy beach.

The property has a great floor plan for a large family, and we have even vacationed with two families in it comfortably. The top floor is an open-concept design featuring a kitchen with a large island with 6 stools. This is open to a view and dining room that provides dining for another 6 people wrapping around a 360 degree fireplace and a reading area. The living room seats a crowd and features a new 60-inch 4K smart TV, cable from Shaw, Netflix, etc. The top floor is surrounded by over 2,000 square feet of 2nd-story patio and pergola-covered space featuring additional outdoor dining, a BBQ, and outdoor furniture for lounging and sunning.

The main floor has the master bedroom and ensuite bath plus two additional bedrooms, one with two Twin XL beds (big enough for adults) and one with a Queen bed. The other full bath is accessed from the central public game & meeting area (games and a game table are provided). This meeting area connects to another large ground-floor sunroom that provides plug-and-play office space with desks, docks and monitors for your laptops and a Color Laserjet printer for work while on the hilltop. We also provide very high-speed internet and Google play speakers around the home for Bluetooth streaming from your devices.

The basement features the largest bedroom in the house that sleeps 4 providing a queen bed and two, twin bunk beds. The basement also provides another living room with 4k TV, a competition ping pong table and weight lifting/exercise area and a gas fireplace. Another full bathroom is accessible from the main living area of the basement, and full laundry facilities with a high-capacity, LG front-loaded washer and dryer provided at no cost.

Award-winning golf courses are located within a 5 to 10-minute drive including Copper Point and Eagle Ranch. Grey Wolf is located at Panorama Ski Resort, which is 20 minutes through Invermere and up the hill to the resort. Both Fairmont Hot Springs and Radium Hot Springs are only a short drive south and north from the property, respectively. Downtown Invermere is 5 minute drive from the home as well, providing shopping and dining.

The home’s land features a large yard, big grassy areas and tall pines that line a long driveway providing plenty of parking. There is a fire pit in the back yard of the property. Get ready for deer and wild turkeys to visit while you stay!

*Dogs are allowed but negotiable.
*The minimum stay in the July and August is 5 nights, with a 10% discount provided for 7 days. Minimum stay rest the year 4 nights.
