Great Week at SML!!!

Really enjoyed our stay at Bob's Cove at SML!!!! The house and dock were great. Everything we could need and more were thought of. We highly recommend.

Fantastic little slice of lake heaven

We loved everything about this property. It had enough to keep us busy for 6 days. We only left the house once. We’ll definitely be back!!

Relaxing and Beautiful

Our family stayed at Bob Inn Cove for my Master's Degree ceremony at Liberty University. The house was big and roomy enough for all six of us and we loved the layout. The back porch was very peaceful and we spent many hours playing games and visiting there.

Spent labor day weekend here and had a wonderful time. Location was fantastic with lots of boating activity on the water to look at. Water levels are extremely low at the time but still over 15 feet deep off the end of the dock which was great for jumping and diving and general fun in the water. The dock is a little old and would needs some work. We were also not able to use the lighting on the dock, couldn't get them to turn on. We were able to use the kayaks and floaters. The paddleboard is missing a plug so it took in water and couldn't float. Plenty of life jackets for kids and adults. Lovely kitchen with everything you need to cook. Love the view of the lake while you do the kitchen cleanup. The deck off the kitchen was very nice and relaxing and had plenty or room for dining and chill. We did have to clean the master bath toilet and sink when we arrived so not sure if the cleaning service forgot that room. We brought our dog and she loved running back and forth between the dock and the house and spend time in the water with us. We used the firepit and the grill, both were great. Loved the walkout basement. We communicated with the host and received responses w/in 6-12hrs. Master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable but that all depends on preference. It was too soft for us. Location was great, 11min to a large Food Lion. Overall we had a great time and would come and stay again.

Bob Cove Inn

Overall the house, property, amenities and location are amazing! Having to go to an office to pick up keys is outdated and inconvenient. Number locks are the best. It would have been nice if the outdoor furniture had been wiped off from all the pollen. The linen company showed up to gather the linens an hour before our checkout, which was not appreciated. Just kindly suggestions for the amount of costs and fees charged.

You get what you see

The property was nice, not too steep of a walk to the lake, beautiful views from both inside the house and sitting on the porches. We did not get to take advantage of the lake because is was colder than expected in May and it rained the entire time we were there, but the views made up a little for it. The house layout was wonderful except the steep stairs into the lower level. Highlights were the hot tub and video game machine aside from the lake. We would stay again, if we were ever in the area,.

Lovely weekend

Beautiful house (one of the best we've stayed in - and we've stayed in a lot!) - well laid out with a very nice kitchen and great spaces for hanging out together. Neighbors are a little close (we could watch each other eat on the back decks), but the location was fabulous and the house was perfect for us (4 adult women).

They thought of everything!

Very pet friendly, always a huge plus in my book! So many games and things to do, they really put so much thought into providing a fun place to stay. Deck is beautiful with perfect view of lake. Had coffee there every morning. Really close to town but also far away enough for peace. Happy with our stay would come here again. Thank you!!

Relaxing

We had a great time. If you love to fish, relax, and enjoy the views you need to rent this home. Fully equipped kitchen, Kayaking, pool and all the games you need! Relaxing hot tub and at home atmosphere. We would rent this again!

Fantastic Family Fun

Our family of 4 , ranging in age from 20 to 51, had a wonderful time. The house had plenty of options for us to enjoy. It was comfortable, relaxing, and well equipped . We would definitely return to this location in the future.
