About this property

Formerly a "Thompson Cottage", this two bedroom, 1 bath cottage nestled on the Maine coastline overlooking a working fisherman's harbor with shared use of dock. One floor living with large living area and stone fireplace. Short walk to the center of New Harbor or desireable Back Cove. Open deck on the back to watch the lobsterman go out with the sunrise and come in with the sunset. Located near Harborside #1, cottages can be rented separate or together for larger parties. Dogs considered with owners' permission.

Dock lost in 2024 storms. Unsure of when it will be replaced.

Enjoyed the Harbor

Very good location! Easy walk to the store. Good view of the Harbor, but trees need thinning. Quite a walk to the dock. Dock ramp needs maintenance but works.

Peaceful and Quiet

We really like the location as it was very entertaining watching the lobster boats. The cottage is a little tired but it has great bones. Would like to see it a little cleaner. Shower is a very nice update.
