Another perk of renting Gulf Stream Cottages 255 is that you’ll have access to the community pool.After a day of play unwind and watch TV or if you’re feeling adventurous, you can explore any of the nearby attractions such as the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk or the SkyWheel. Super nice and clean!

The house appears small but we had plenty of room for my husband and I, and 2 teenager boys. Everything looks so new and was conveniently located. Plenty close enough to walk to and from the beach.

We loved our stay. We slept five adults Comfortably, with one using the sofa (we didn’t pull out the sofa bed, just made it up like a day bed at night). Super easy walk to the beach. Though a block off main strip, the housing area this is located is very quiet. Not a great view of the ocean, but you CAN see it. We utilized the space! Made our coffee using the coffee pot each morning, cooked breakfast at the house and even stayed in to cook dinner a couple nights! The kitchen was stocked with what I needed to fix the meals (skillets, pots, pans, bowls, etc). Overall, a great stay with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay at the beach. Would recommend and would absolutely utilize this cottage for another stay

Super cute place!

When we first arrived there was a little bit of a trash issue out back HOWEVER the lady at the office was so kind and efficient in getting it taken care of. Everything was really nice. Pool was a little smaller than expected but we still enjoyed it! Loved all of the security cameras on the outside of the property. Made us feel more safe than staying in a hotel!!! Thank you Elliot Rentals! We hope to be back soon.

Not a good place for families

First, you have to check in at a different location, all so they can give you some paper print outs and a welcome bag with a roll of single ply toilet paper in it. The unit had little pieces of soap at the drain in the shower, the furniture is very dirty (stained brown), the carpets did not looked vacuumed, but they are so filthy anyway, it wouldn't make a difference. Your feet will turn black from walking around for ten minutes in there. The glass door and bathroom mirror was full of fingerprints and smears. There is a wasp nest on the front porch (complete with wasps flying around), so don't plan on sitting out there. Though the flies were so bad, and the view of Modelo cans in the parking lot left a lot to be desired. We tried to go to the pool, and were met with a family (I think) that was blasting music that was totally inappropriate for little kids. There was another family arriving at the same time we did, who said they had to leave the pool the day before because of the same people. Apparently they show up in a car and change in the bathrooms. We were supposed to stay for a week, but we left after 3 days. My son was covered in bites and rashes on his legs, and I wasn't confident that it wasn't coming from the house. Also, the area does not seem safe at all. And most of the time, other people (not on vacation) will be parking in your parking spot. Finally, there are absolutely NO supplies in the house other than bath towels.
