I enjoyed my weekend stay at this lovingly restored railway station B'n'B to explore historic Burra. The combustion heater was especially welcome as it can get quite cold in winter. Looking forward to staying there again in the future.

A very pleasant stay in a historic place. It’s homely, inviting, very comfortable, well appointed and quiet. Highly recommended.
My wife and i thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Burra at the Railway Station. Lots to see and do around the area. The Railway Station was very interesting will lots of history. We will defiantly return in the winter months to enjoy the fire.
A beautiful restoration of the old Porters’ Rooms at the historic Burra Railway Station made for a comfortable stay and a great base to explore the region. The weather in the mid-north was cold and wet, but the accomodation was cosy and had everything we needed.
My husband and I had a great 2 nights stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the novelty of staying in an old railway station in accommodation that was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We liked being on the edge of Burra and walking in to the town centre past the mines and back along Burra Creek. It was such fun sitting outside on the patio looking out at the platform and hills beyond.

Everything you could think you would need. Would definitely stay here again.
The volunteers that renovated the place did a marvellous job.
Had a lovely couple of days here. Loved the renovations and all the volunteers work working hard today for a function as we were leaving. Pity about the weather but made the lovely log fire just lovely. Will recommend. 😊👍
