About this property
Blackpool House | Stay Waiheke
Summary:
Relax in this secluded setting, close to the beaches amongst magnificent Taraire trees. Built with a couple in mind, this spacious architect designed house has been fitted out with a contemporary meets retro interior. A split level living space reaches out to the landscaped garden with two large decks that catch the sun at different times of the day.
The Space:
There's a mezzanine library that looks out over the living space where you can lie back and read.
Further upstairs the treetop bedroom looks out across the valley down to Te Huruhi Bay. Lie back and watch the native birds fly through the canopy. There's a luxurious king size bed with all linen supplied. The adjacent bathroom has a luxurious shower and view out to the bush.
This sunny north facing retreat is only a 5 minute walk to Little Oneroa Beach, and 15 minutes walk to the Oneroa shops, restaurants and cafes. There's plenty of walking tracks close by including one that leads from the house down through a bush walk to Blackpool Beach.
Please note: Blackpool House is not suitable for children 2-12.

Mark's house is stunning with superb architecture and interior design. It truly deserves 5 stars. You're secluded in the bush, yet so close to town. We highly recommend it.

If you want a place to stay where a lot of pleasurable things have been thought about and incorporated in the house designs this is it. if you want to stay somewhere that's interesting and unique and not a typical beach house , dealt with by an assured hand, this is it. Close enough to walk to the treats of Oneroa but not at all suburban this is a great place to stay. With beautiful bush and mature tree outlook and complete privacy come and experience relaxation.

A wonderful home, beautifully designed and set in a lovely bush environment. Great location, just a short walk to two different beaches (Blackpool or Little Oneroa) and Oneroa township. We'll be back for sure. Thanks Mark and Di.

Wonderful little spot nestled in the native Waiheke bush. The best part was the complete privacy offered. The little bush walk down to the Blackpool Beach topped off the day, as did the sound of the birds in the morning. Will be heading back.
