Lounge on the patio while watching boats in the bay and herons and eagles overhead. The quaint village of Cowichan Bay is just a 5 minute walk down the hill. It offers artisan shops, fresh baked goods and a variety of excellent restaurants. Hiking, biking, water activities, golf, vineyards and local farms are all at your doorstep.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at Cowichan Bay Hideaway. It was a rainy weekend but made extra cozy with the fireplace. The space has a lot of charm and character for an older home. The ocean views are stunning. The surrounding trees were full of song birds which we could see up close with the telescope along with the many boats in the harbor. The kitchen is fully stocked and the linen closet too. If you are wanting to walk into Cowichan Bay it is about 10 min downhill into the village along quiet, residential streets. We felt safe and enjoyed the privacy of the neighborhod. We'd love to stay again!

Our family of 5 loved the layout - it was so fun to hangout in the living room. We loved cooking in the well appointed kitchen and eating inside or out on the patio. We were a group of four women, getting together for a weekend of relaxation and this was an ideal spot! The house was charming and cozy, was clean and had everything we needed (except coffee filters - just need to restock those). We loved the view from the deck and the proximity to restaurants.
