With 4 luxurious bedrooms, all offering water views, the cottage invites you to unwind on the expansive deck while soaking in the ever-changing waterfront scenery.

Toast marshmallows at the fire pit under starry skies and reflect on your adventures—beaches, MTB trails, skydiving, wineries, historic sites, lavender farms, Seahorse World, Beaconsfireld Mine and more.
The fairy penguins at Low Head are a must see.

Lovely house with eveything needed for a fantastic stay. Clean, comfortable and beautifully presented. The inside, all rooms are immaculate, the lounge with the fire place is beyond cosy, kitchen serves perfectly for inside or outside meals, especially in-the-sun breakfast on the elevated deck overlooking the water and boats

This was the perfect cosy cottage for our stay whilst discovering the Northern regions of Tassie.

Beautiful Cottage

We visited the area for a family wedding and had the most beautiful stay in Georgetown. The house is in the perfect location to shops and we enjoyed the bikes on offer to explore the area. The beds were so comfortable and the house was great for our family group. Janmaree was a great host and always on hand to answer questions and offer local tips!

What a gorgeous cottage right on the river. Plenty of room for our group of 6 adults. Very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. Janmaree is very helpful with great tips on where to go and where to eat. We would definitely come back to York Cottage.

Wonderful location, beautiful house.

Loved being able to see the boats on the water, close to everything. Had dinner at the pier hotel, right across from the house. The house itself had a good feel to it, with each room having something different to it almost quirky. Host was great with communication and happy to help with any queries or to give a recommendation.

House on the Tamar

This house was perfect. Great house, location and gardens. The deck overlooked the grasslands and water. So relaxing. The bed were comfortable which is not always the case. Janmaree was so helpful with everything including what to do on the way to the house. I highly recommend this house. Great value.
