This is my favourite place to stay when up North. The views are unmatched! Perfect cottage for when we need a break from the pace of the city. We will be back many more times.
The property is wonderfully nice, well appointed and very relaxing. The view sitting on the deck or even just in the lounge with the door open is like living in a postcard.
A wonderful, well-designed property in a setting that is hard to describe. The view from the bedroom and from the living room was stunning. Our host was great! A very interesting family history and excellent communication. Fascinating local history and just a short drive from Kauri Walks we would stay here again without hesitation.
The photos in this listing doesn't do it justice - its much better in real life. Thr property is well maintained, clean and tidy. Close to the town and walking distance to the beach. Awesome location and spot to get away.

Thank you Lily, we are glad you enjoyed your stay.
We were there for 5 das and we enjoyed our stay very much.It was always a pleasure to sit on the sofa and enjoy the lovely view. The appartment is very nicely furniched and very clean. Kelly is a realyl friendly host and you can contact her with any questions.
The Bach was perfect for a couple. Clean , bright , peaceful , well provisioned - and best of all, fabulous views of the ocean while sitting in the sofa! Wifi a bit hit and miss. Highly recommended
The guest house was modern and comfortable with everything we needed. But the property and the views were positively stunning! We never tired of sitting outside with a beverage and just enjoying the beautiful scenery. The owner was super friendly as was her sweet pup.
Convenient for scenic walks, Waipoua Forest, and just relaxing. Must also recommend the Kotare coffee shop for breakfast or lunch.

Thank yourl for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed your stay.
This place makes relaxing so easy. With stunning views of Hokianga Harbour, surrounded by beautiful gardens and lawns, rest and recuperation are certainly on the cards. The unit itself is immaculately presented, with quality fixtures and fittings throughout. A pleasure to linger in as well as to return to at the end of a long day of activities in the Hokianga. We will return to enjoy again some day, and maybe possibly for a longer period of time.
Omapere is not on the main drag but if you're not short of time, the remarkable views of the Heads, the karri forests and the Manea cultural centre are well worth staying 1 or more nights.
The bach is perched on a hill above the town & has everything you need.
Local hosts, Kelly & Jennifer, have made it very homely & neighbourly and are very responsive to your needs.
Internet connection can be patchy due to remoteness.
Thank you!

Spacious and comfortable with well equiped kitchen. We borrowed our host’s BBQ which made evening meals easy.
Wifi was very weak so we relied on phone data.
Great position - with walks and interesting museums nearby.
Would love to return.
Views from the rooms are beautiful.
Bach is well appointed
Great location, quiet, good gardens, breakfast on the verandah with stunning views each morning started the day.
