Chad and Lisa's home is so comfortable, beautifully appointed, and such a treat to stay at. The hosts were so prompt to reply to any questions we had, and so accommodating with any requests made. I would absolutely stay again, and would recommend to any family or friends coming to visit the city.
Amazing property that was a home-base for a vacation and family wedding in Vancouver. Chad and Lisa were very responsive to our questions and requests and easy to communicate with. Our favourite spot was the deck off the primary suite - great views. We highly recommend this home.
This is a beautiful, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood. It was also a good location for getting to our planned activities (Lynn Canyon suspension bridge, Whytecliff Park, and biking in Stanley Park). Hosts were very nice and communicative. Highly recommend.
This home from home has been done to a very high standard making it a perfect place to stay. We were here for 4 nights and it simply wasn’t long enough. My only complaint is the house is so beautiful and relaxing we really didn’t want to go out 😁. If we return to Vancouver we will be staying here again. It is simply wonderful.
There are lots of amenities close by for families including a splash park and PNE. Even though this home was built in 1910 the bathrooms and Kitchen are spacious and updated. They were very great hosts to communicate with and offer nice linens and towels to guests. This house has so much charm and full of lush trees. The front courtyard is great place to enjoy a morning coffee and is so private! The whole family including the dog very much enjoyed being able to stay at this wonderful home! Highly recommend ♥️
We used this location as a home base to visit the lower mainland
Location: quiet neighborhood. With access to transit, stores and major thoroughfares.
Residence: Very well appointed that was extremely comfortable. The pictures don’t do it justice as they exceeded expectations. High end finishes and appliances. The residence was very well equipped for a long or short term stay.
The hosts were very friendly and responsive to any questions.
We were glad to have this lovely home to stay at in Vancouver. We were there to help family move and it became a very stressful time for us with many things going wrong in the move. Staying at this home was a wonderful tranquil place to come back to. The lovely garden area with fountain out front was very relaxing. The home is very clean, tastefully decorated and has lots of amenities.Everything is in good working order. The owners were very welcoming and were easy to get hold of for any questions. We even extended our stay!
This charming, well kept heritage home, nestled within a lovely private garden was spacious and suitable for our extended family which included our four year old grandson, his eighteen year old sister, their parents, my husband and me. The upstairs balcony was especially delightful at night having both a view of the mountains and comfortable seating. The kitchen was very well appointed with a Bosch induction stovetop and other excellent appliances. The dining room was spacious with vintage early 20th century panelling and fine wooden floors, furniture and an antique glass chandelier. The two full bathrooms were also well designed though in a modern tasteful style. Lovely stained glass windows were featured throughout. We especially enjoyed the cosy breakfast nook. The location was very convenient in terms of shopping and the street itself was handsome with hundred year old trees lining both sides. We all thought this was the best vacation homes we've rented to date.
Interesting character house, beautifully renovated. Lots of space for 2 couples. Upstairs deck with beautiful view. Walking distance to Hastings park. Highly recommend.
The property in Vancouver was stunning. The entryway was professionally landscaped, setting the tone for the beautiful decoration inside. The two bathrooms were clearly remodelled with high-end materials. The overall layout of the house was very welcoming, with enough bedrooms for three people and a dog. We particularly enjoyed sitting out on the upstairs balcony to watch the sun set. The kitchen was well-appointed and made cooking meals a breeze. There was even a charming breakfast nook off the kitchen for informal meals. Overall, an excellent stay!
We loved our time at this comfortable home. Lots of thoughtful touches including snacks, drinks and a well stocked kitchen. Comfy beds and nice thick bath towels. The house is full of charm and so nicely decorated. Nice patio too. Close access to the highway. Would highly recommend!!!
Never! Have I stayed in a short term rental as nice, with such a great view, and excellent host. The place was beautiful, spotless, the beds were soo! Comfortable, the bathrooms, were ??? Modern, very clean, spacious, wonderful, there is even a dog shower! (go figure, now how great is that)? The kitchen was great with a small breakfast booth a large dining room and some of the best coffee I’ve ever had! There are toys, games, books, movies, WiFi, laundry facilities, umbrellas, security cameras and lights, a view to die for from the second floor balcony. The gardens were just beginning to green up and were pretty. As we were departing, Chad arrived to refresh his property, and OH MY, what a great guy!!! meeting him and chatting for just a few minutes??? made us all want to take him and property home with us, thank you Chad for such a wonderful home away from home.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location with parks for the grandkids. Wonderful view from the 2nd floor deck in the back. Plenty of space for the 6 of us . That being said, we did keep running out of plates. With kids snacking , we may have been using more than necessary!! Wonderful hosts and would definitely return.
