The house is modern, clean, nicely decorated with a well-appointed kitchen. Perfect location to visit with family & friends close by. A winter visit meant our kids got to take advantage of sledding on the property too! Our host, Amanda, was welcoming and responsive.

Whirlwind weekend vacation

My wife and I and our children stayed here for a long weekend. The house was beautiful, very clean and well appointed. The host made sure we had everything we needed and made the check in & check out process very easy. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the home to anyone.

Great place and great owners!

Beautiful house and property. Close to Beacon, which is a beautiful little town. We have two small children and needed some extra stuff, and the owner was very helpful and responsive - she also went out of her way to mail me my drivers license after our stay because my toddler hid it under the couch. A great stay!

Beautiful place to gather as a family

Four women in my family spent a long weekend here to celebrate a birthday. We had plans in Poughkeepsie and in Pawling, so this home was centrally located. We also cooked a meal together and this kitchen was perfect. It was well stocked and the island is huge, there was plenty of room for everyone. The bathrooms were recently remodeled and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone slept great. The backyard looked like a great place to grill, eat out and have a fire but the weather did not cooperate. We would absolutely stay here again.

We were here for a wedding as well as to visit family that live and volunteer at Watchtower Facilities in Patterson and Wallkill. (JW.ORG) The home was perfectly located. It was clean, well stocked, comfortable and the scenery was beautiful. Our host was amazing. She checked on us throughout the week and was very responsive to all our needs. Fantastic family spring break getaway

This place was even better in person than the photos. Even though we traveled here to tour the area, we always looked forward to coming back "home" to lounge and relax. The bed in the master bedroom is by far the most comfortable i have ever slept on ( I think it's a Tempurpedic), the bathroom was like a spa, and the kitchen island made me downright jealous. If we ever have the opportunity to visit upstate New York again, this home is at the top of the list. Our host, Amanda saw to it that any concerns or issues were promptly addressed and that this was a stay that we will never forget. Thanks Amanda!

Property has an open floor plan with well appointed bedrooms and space. There are disadvantages. The entry steps are DANGEROUS. Uneven height to stone steps with a sharp slope to the yard nearly caused 2 of us to fall. Neither bathroom has a walk in shower. Overall this property is very unsuitable for Elderly.

How we enjoyed meeting our PA family for a long weekend at this pretty place in New York State. The host offered excellent suggestions for places to see, eat and walk. She also decorated the house with holiday decorations to the joy of our granddaughter. The host went the extra mile by mailing a forgotten treasured coffee mug back to it's owner. That was so appreciated! We enjoyed the fire pit and charcoal grill as the weather was perfect for being outdoors. After all the fresh air outings we slept so well on those comfy beds. We hope to return for more exploring soon!

This home was absolutely spotless and clean! The kitchen has all the things you need to whip up a meal and serve it in style. Be aware that there isn’t a dining table in the house, but stools surround the kitchen island for eating. My family found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and well lit. There are stairs to get into the house and to access the downstairs fireplace room, laundry and half bath. The owner was very accessible and responsive. I highly recommend this stunning home if you’re in the Hudson Valley.

Family Visit

We were in NY for the weekend to surprise my granddaughter who just had a baby and to see my kids and other grands. No time for anything else, but at this location friends we’re able to drop by and say hello as I am on oxygen. My portable stopped working so I had to stay tethered to the big one and that worked out great! Very convenient to everything and everywhere we needed to go!

Amanda was the best host! She answered every text within minutes and went above and beyond by helping us find a makeup artist last minute, when ours came down with COVID. The home has a very spacious, well appointed kitchen. There was a great welcome basket with toiletries and a bottle of wine to greet us. It should be noted that master bedroom and hall bathroom have barn doors without a lock. Basement (toliet only) is shared with washing machines and in place of a door there is a heavy curtain. From the backyard you can see a beautiful view of the mountains. Very clean and modern home. We definitely recommend it.
