Pointes North Inn is one of Charlevoix's unique condominium suites that book like a hotel room. Book for the condo's privacy, stay for the hospitality.

This vintage condo boasts beautiful retro furniture, carpet in the main living areas, and in the bedroom, with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. In the bedroom you will find a comfy king-size bed, a tv with a roku remote, one of a kind bedside tables, and a dresser so you can fully unpack to feel more at home. In the closet space, you will find the bedding for the sleeper sofa, iron and ironing board. The living room offers a queen-sized sleeper sofa, a cozy arm chair, a tv with a roku remote, and side tables. There is also a solid wood dining table with 4 vintage captains chairs. The kitchenette supplies a 12 cup coffee maker, microwave, toaster, dishes and flatware. The large bathroom offers a jet tub with an open wall into the bedroom, walk-in shower, separate toilet room, and a beautiful vanity. In addition to the fabulous interior, through the sliding glass door you will find a 4 person seating arrangement on the screened in porch! No need to worry about privacy, the screen door locks and the curtains close fully.

We provide towels and mini soaps for your use, as well as limited daily housekeeping services. Be sure to ask the front desk if you need a playpen or high-chair for a little one.

Pointes North Inn has high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the building and coin-operated laundry on the second floor. The lobby area has seating which overlooks the heated indoor/outdoor pool. The inside section of the pool is open year-round, while the outside section is closed off October to May.

This property is not clean and the unit was incredibly old. The mattress on the couch is disgusting and would not want to use it. We bought an air mattress instead. The front staff was great and tried to help with the situation. The location is wonderful but it is sad that the properties are not well maintained or clean. I should have taken more photos.

Charlevoix Weekend

We loved our weekend in Charlevoix, it's one of our favorite northern cities. We chose this condo because it had a great location for a great price. Other reviewers said "clean but dated", I think that's spot on. We loved having a kitchenette and a screened in porch, the bed was very clean and comfortable. The condo is also very spacious and it was very quiet. You would never know other people were staying there. The best part was the location. We could walk to the light house and the water, and to all of our favorite restaurants.

Weird floorplan with jacuzzi in bedroom/bathroom. Use it and the bedroom becomes a sauna. TV was lousy...they use free internet service rather than paying for cable. No cleaning services provided. Old furniture. Would expect better for price paid. We were there to run marathon, so loved that start line was just outside our unit. Overall, not a terrible place to stay, but it's definitely overpriced for what you get.

I was disappointed with the customer service however. I was part of a wedding block staying at the hotel. The shuttle to the wedding was between 4-5. We were told we couldn't check in until 4 without an additional fee. We paid for 1 hour early check in so we had time to get ready for the wedding, and arrived at 2:45 - about 15 minutes early. We were told we couldn't get in the room until 3 and we'd have to wait in the lobby. No staff came in or out of the room while we were waiting so the room had obviously been cleaned already. The whole situation felt like I was being nickeled and dimed and left a very salty taste in my mouth. I will be finding a different place to stay next time.

Having the bathroom not closed off from the bedroom is ridiculous. Every other room we went into was closed off. When you go to sit on the toilet it moves which wasn't good. When I called to see if there was a blow dryer they said yes but there wasn't one. Very disappointing. One of the lights next to the bed would go on and off which means there is a wiring problem. When we arrived the bathroom floor was sticky. The women at the front desk; who was nice came to reclean the floor. Bottom line it needs a lot of work. I would not recommend room 106 to anyone I know. The other rooms were very nice so I would recommend they stay in any other room. The front desk was very nice.
