- No pets (Assistance Animals with certificate welcome with notice)
- Travel insurance recommended for peace of mind & ferry/flight cancellations etc.
- Ferry MUST be pre-booked in advance
- Kitchen must be packed up on departure / dishes done (normal holiday rental etiquette)
- Minor bedrooms are small, so not large enough for extra beds or cot
- Dining room Smart TV is connected to internet only for using your streaming services, apps etc. but no older-style free-to air wall socket (just use IView, 10Play, 9Now etc apps).

FOR FAMILIES TO NOTE:
- We warmly welcome respectful families, however this is a luxury property, not 'kid-proof' in any way whatsoever, effective supervision required.
- Hot water runs quite hot, care required
- Balconies, sliding doors and stairs without stair gates
- Cot, highchair + toys by arrangement
- All children MUST be pre-booked, irrespective of age (max 2 free infants not yet turned 2yrs at date of check in)

SECURITY
Kingscote tends to be exceptionally safe, however do lock your house and car doors. There is a security camera located at the front porch & in the strata group's access road at the rear of the property.

Lovely place to stay

We really enjoyed staying in Kingscote and this home is lovely. It is on a few different levels (stairs) but works well and has everything you need and lots of space. Communication with the owner is easy and quick. They live in the area and guide you to the best places to eat/see.

Probably the best rental property we have ever stayed…

Absolutely wonderful stay. The property itself is perfectly located to walk to everything in Kingscote - and internally is so well fitted out. Thoughtful detail on the inclusions in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms and plenty of helpful beach activities stored in the shed. Exceptional and timely communication guided our check in and the guest book in the lounge had a list of activities and ideas split by each area of Kangaroo Island. This was our third stay in KI but our best. We will be back!!!

Excellent accommodation close to the shops in Kingscote

The property was excellent as it was clean, in a great location (a short walk to shops, restaurants, the beach, and the pier with a park across the road), and had lots of facilities (multiple televisions, BBQ, well stocked). Rachel was an excellent and engaging host who communicated with us throughout the whole process and she provided excellent advice on booking the ferry, local restaurants, and attractions. We went as two couples and this place is highly recommended if you are spending time on Kangaroo Island.

KI Terrace

Centrally located in Kingscote, this terrace / apartment is well appointed, in a quiet spot, overlooking the park with ocean views. Easy 2 min walk to pubs, supermarket and cafes. Being a ~40 min drive from the ferry in Penneshaw, this spot puts you much closer to KI’s attractions including beaches, nature sites, national parks and other activities.

Our Terrace Accommodation was simply stunning. The views are so beautiful, and the gorgeous and very comfortable furnishings and homewares, including all those current magazines and books was enjoyed by us all. We were excited when we walked into our accommodation which was perfectly presented with every possible detail and need covered, including a beautiful Xmas tree and lovely treats to enjoy. Rachel was the best host anyone could hope for, she provided us with all the details and confidence so we could enjoy everything a KI holiday has to offer. This location is just perfect! KI takes on a whole new feel when you stay in this spot, it's so relaxing watching the ocean, taking a stroll to brunch or dinner (not need to drive after enjoying your bevvy of choice!), or just watching the kids at the park across the road. You really can just spend several days enjoying Kingscote and maybe some of the nearby wineries, brewery etc., so that you can return home truly relaxed!
