Dear Julia,
Thank you so much for wonderful feedback!
We’re so happy that you enjoyed the nature location of the house and had a comfortable stay all around. We hope to be able to welcome you back in the future!
I loved every aspect of this home. It was fully stocked and equipped. My fiancé and I enjoyed the fire place the location is 3 minutes drive to the lake, 10 minutes from the bethel center and close to all things in the area. Spending a week encouraged us to find a vacation home in the area.

Lovely property, cozy stay! 2nd time here
We've actually stayed at this property twice now. Very cutely-designed, plenty of fans, kitchen has lots of supplies, and the hot tub is perfect. Only complaints are there were a lot of little black ants everywhere inside, and I had to call the Evolve Management group when I arrived to get inside, having never received any check-in info. Small flukes, would visit again certainly.

Comfortable, clean home for a weekend or more; only 4 miles & easy drive to Bethel Woods Concert & Woodstock Museum. Home needs a toaster and softer pillows for bed; otherwise great place to stay and host was easy to contact & quick replies.

Perfect for Bethel Music
This house was represented perfectly on the site. Great location with a 10 minute drive to the back entrance of Bethel woods venue. Lots of deer in the backyard. Hot tub…big kitchen, comfy beds! The owners were very communicative before, during, and after. All positive! Perfect! We will be back.

Absolutely amazing!
We went there for our 4 year wedding anniversary weekend to get away from our life and 2 year old for a little peace and quiet. It was romantic, beautiful, and absolutely perfect. The bed was comfortable, the grill was great, the hot tub was soothing, the game room was fun, their recommendations of nearby restaurants and watering holes was spot on, and we even visited bethel woods! Samantha and Udo went above and beyond to make our weekend the best it could be. We found be happier! Thank you!
This is was clean, roomie, comfortable beds with nice pillows and bedding, comfy chic furniture, kitchen equipped (no toaster tho'), bathroom (could use more hand towels), pleasant environment place to stay. Couldn't quite figure out the TV but not tech savvy so sure others would be able to. Maybe some better directions printed out? The decking and grill could us a little work but the privacy setting of that area was wonderful. Saw families of deer meandering through, large winged birds flying by, a very quiet place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a bit pricey but it went up for headliner at the Bethal Woods Arts Center. Enjoyed that immensely but the surrounding area didn't provide much. A few restaurants in the center of town. No vegetable farms? If we missed the action maybe making a quick listing of area attractions might be nice. Thanks for a great get away weekend!!
The property was nice although some details were overlooked. There were loose threads hanging off the corners on many of the fabric items like pillows, rugs, and even the inside of the bathroom sink from how it was built, the overabundance of knickknacks were super dusty, and worst of all, the tub is DANGEROUS. It is completely smooth with no grips or safety railing. I slipped despite being young with good balance and and sprained both my shoulder and wrist. It threw me with enough force that I almost hit the toilet tank with my head. I saw other reviews mention how slippery it was, but this is ridiculous. The location of property was beautiful, although a bit overgrown. It was welcoming enough and not crazy with regulation, before getting hurt I would have given it 4 stars, but that tub is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Hi Alison, we take it seriously when guests let us know that we missed the mark, and after sending your feedback to the homeowner, they’d like to share the following:- We were not aware of any previous concerns about the bathtub, but we take your feedback very seriously. After learning of your experience, we immediately had our handyman install bathtub floor grips to ensure guest safety- We take pride in maintaining our property, but we apologize if any loose threads on fabric items or dust on décor detracted from your experience. We’ll be addressing these details promptly to ensure everything is in top condition for future guests- We’re glad to hear you found the location beautiful and the property welcoming. We’ll also take a closer look at the landscaping to keep it well-maintainedThank you for your insight, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again soon!

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
While the ad didn't mention AC, it was disappointing for my wife and I once we arrived and realized there wasn't. One smoke detector just hanging from ceiling with exposed wires and another that was sitting on a shelf in the kitchen with a battery next to it, I installed the battery only to find out the detector beeped every few seconds. The house needs allot of work, back door has no seal and was a challenge to keep shut/locked and the screen door is in terrible shape and barely operable. Not all the windows open and some that did were a challenge. The game room very dusty and full of cob webs/spiders. Some of the vents on the floor for the blower are plastic and are cracked/broken. The gutters that remain attached are nearly falling off and serving no purpose when it rains. Most of the chairs outside were broken. This property has allot of potential should it be taken care of better.

Wonderful retreat
We had a wonderful get-away from NYC. The place is cozy and clean and looks as it is presented. The hot tub was a welcome treat. The hot tub is also not shared, as I thought it would be, making it especially great. The place is quiet and isolated, even with other tenants close by. I would recommend!

Poor cooking/eating supplies, slippery tub no hair dryer one hand towel, air circulation wasn’t good
No response from management with questions prior to arrival and never responded entire stay. Location worked for us, space was good,
Really enjoyed our time on this property and the hot tub in the backyard amongst the foliage was the highlight. Be sure to bring your own pots, pans and baking tray if you plan on cooking at the house as these were not available to us. We ended up having to purchase disposable baking trays from the supermarket. Be sure to open the doors and windows as it got very smokey when using the oven. The oven vents seemed to recycle the ventilation back into the house so the smoke alarm kept going off. Would still highly recommend to others.
