Thank you for your feedback — we sincerely appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. Many guests have complimented how well-appointed the kitchen is, especially noting the quality of the cookware and other essentials. We will be reviewing the inventory during our next visit to ensure everything continues to meet our high standards and provide a comfortable, enjoyable stay for all guests.
We enjoyed our stay while in town for our son’s commencement weekend. The drive into Blacksburg was offset by the reasonable rate for staying at this comfy home.
Stayed here with my family over spring break. Great location with plenty of hiking areas within short traveling distances. Dog absolutely loved the property and the hiking too! Would recommend for someone looking for a relaxing time

We loved the peace of this house. Surrounded by nature and plenty of windows when inside. Everything was comfortable and available. We even left something behind and the host helped us get it back.
Fun and relaxing. The living area was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures but was still great.

Wonderful
The host is very nice to work with. Very accommodating and it was wonderful to be able to bring our two dogs with us. The cabin was spotless and so were the grounds.
It was great the location everything. We all enjoyed it very much and the contact person was always available and awesome she gave us places we would be interested in and it was great thanks for allowing us to stay.
This small secluded cabin was the perfect location for a family weekend with the pups. The property was scrupulously clean & beautifully decorated. We enjoyed walking the property, playing the games, and sitting on the deck watching the wildlife. We experienced some unprecedented difficulties due to a major hurricane striking the area during our stay, and both the property manager and the owner were a class act. I could not recommend this property more.
It was a great place to stay. Lots of room inside and outside. The pond didn't have a lot of water in it and didn't see any fish in it as well. Definitely a comfortable stay. Lots of things to do with the family within a 20 mile radius. We would definitely try and rent this place again if we are ever back in the area.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for the second time with our two dogs (1st time was in 2023! We loved it so much we had to return when picking this year’s trip!) This Max Meadows cabin is so peaceful & serene, no neighbors in sight from the house, very private. Our two dogs loved all of the outdoor space they got outside to roam around. My boyfriend & I enjoyed how cleanly this cabin always is, great communication from the host, and the location! Max Meadows was a great distance from some beautiful finds in the area! It is very remote, with only wifi to rely on upon arrival. No service so keep that in mind! We absolutely loved being able to disconnect from the world!! Truly can’t say enough wonderful things about this spectacular little home away from home!Cabin is close to a grocery store, some antique shops, gas stations, etc. making it stress-free to locate when you need gas/groceries ASAP!!
a sweet house. close to the New River bike trails.
This was a sweet house. Very clean, with lots of places to sit outside. Unfortunately for us, we did not have good weather, so we were restricted to indoors.
Anyone thinking of renting should be warned that there is a single bath on the 1st floor, with 2 bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen is small - with a single small table and only 2 chairs, so, meals were around the couch.
the kitchen is small, but well for incidentals like spices.
We contacted the owners for information, and they responded immediately. The wifi / internet worked perfectly, but we were unable to see how that to connect to the big TV.
Overall, this was a wonderful place, beautiful setting. responsive owners. A great place to stay, if your plan is to be active outdoors.
Great cabin very peaceful had everything you need. ALOT OF ROOM in the cabin. Saw some turkey's and some deer. Already miss feeding the fish In the pond. I give it a high star rating . The best get away trip for my wife and I thanks so much jimmy and connie spartanburg sc
We loved this place. It was very nicely renovated and very comfortable. The cabin is small...1,000 feet but the space is well designed. There is just a small table with 2 chairs so if you have a larger group you can eat outdoors on the deck picnic table or indoors around a large coffee table. The wrap around deck and chairs provide a great place to hangout. The lawn and landscaping added to the charm.
The cabin and property was beautiful. We stayed 3 nights and motorcycled to the surrounding attractions. All the amenities were exceptional. Was hoping for a toaster. There was not one. The only difficulty was the neighbors barking dogs at anytime of day or night. It did disturb the peacefulness of the cabin. Definitely would recommend the cabin to all.
We stayed 2 nights while traveling from NJ to Nashville and it was PERFECT. We were able to relax in a beautiful space and enjoy local hiking, parks, petting zoo and even went into town for some great Mexican food and a stop at the local brewery. Everything was within 20 minutes, yet the property was remote and quiet. Thank you!
