Great place for a couple of family with small children. The cottage has everything we needed. We really enjoyed having coffee in the deck by the lake, walking on South Lake Road, and kayaking. It’s a great place to unwind and get away from the craziness of every day life.
This little gem is just the thing you need to unwind and relax. We had a great time just listening to the birdsong in the mornings and being unplugged. There is lots to see and do in the neighbourhood and loved the location which the owner very expertly directed us to. Well equipped and comfortable. What’s not to love?

Little Gem of Solitude
We were given excellent instructions by the owner to arrive at this little gem on the water. Beautiful sunsets, birdsong and solitude awaited us. Kayaks are available as well as a fire pit which we did not use as we were attending the PGA Championships. The house is well stocked with supplies and the area is rife with interesting places to hike, wine taste, and explore the sites. I had forgotten how beautiful the finger lakes are.
If you are good with living an unplugged life this is the place for you.

Home away from home!
I can’t say enough good things about Aunt Al’s place! First, the owner was so kind and text to make sure we had everything we needed. It truly felt like home away from home, it has everything you need, most places have you bring your own linens and towels which is just more to pick but that was all there for us. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook all meals! (Not food, just cookware dishes silverware etc). Also a washer and dryer on-site so you don’t have to go home with dirty clothes! It was clean and cozy! They have a fire pit and kayaks and we fully enjoyed those! The lake was beautiful and right at the bottom of the house. We fed the ducks every morning. It was just all together a wonderful time away and we appreciate the hospitality! We will be back for sure!
We stayed for a weekend and enjoyed every moment here. The property was so clean and well cared for, the listing was very accurate. We loved being right on the lake and enjoyed the kayaks and floating in the water. The sounds of nature at night were incredible and soooo soothing. There is a welcome binder with useful information on local spots. We went to the old country store for lunch and twisted raile brewery for dinner, scoops for ice cream. We had a lovely time!
We visited the finger lakes and WNY for the first time ever. Aunt Al’s place was the perfect spot. We loved the country and lake side feel with the proximity to the city. Will definitely be back.
