This beautiful contemporary home is in Canaan Vistas, a small mountain community located right between Canaan Resort, White Grass and Timberline Mountain. It is a short drive to the slopes, the tube park, and the trails. Spring, summer and fall visitors can enjoy the easy trip to Blackwater Falls, Seneca Rocks, and lots, lots more. You will be hoping for a rainy day and an excuse to sleep in late and enjoy the generous space and amenities this beautiful home provides. Shoot a game of pool or win a foosball tournament. Moosie Chalet even provide a well-equipped workout room equipped with a treadmill, stair stepper, and recumbent bike. Okay, now take the virtual tour and fall in love with Moosie Chalet. The Perfect Getaway

The house is beautiful and spacious. Three floors of bedroom space allowed for everyone to have privacy and a quiet place to relax. The location of the home is perfect. We were minutes from Timberline and minutes from Canaan.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my second time in six months staying at Moosie Chalet. There were six adults in our group. The house is very spacious, well kept, and clean. Televisions in all the bedrooms and an outdoor firepit would have made our stay even better. Overall, I highly recommend staying at this property.

Very beautiful view specially early morning. Dishwasher not working and fan not working one of the bed rooms. Also, the heat control is not good as basement bed room chill/cold when the upstairs are heated.

Reviewer Comments: Lovely spacious house and well appointed.Two problems, beds are much too hard for a regular person to sleep--sofas and chairs had to substitute. Heating system never balanced. Hot upstairs; cold downstairs. I think this problem can be solved by having a trained heating person balance the system.
