Sunny private location in Gibbston Valley. Arrowtown and Queenstown, both a short drive away and offering unlimited tourist attractions. Wanaka is 50 minutes over the scenic Crown Range. Or pop down the road to any of the vineyards or the tavern for delicious dining. The bike trail starts at the end of the driveway and bikes can be hired at Gibbston winery... or walk the trail along the Kawarau River. Read a book in the sunroom or under the fruit trees, cool off in the swimming pond, or kick back on the front deck with a BBQ. When fire permits allow, enjoy a fab evening around the fireplace in the ruins and if it's the right time of year enjoy strawberries and raspberries from the garden.

Our stay was bliss! Our host was super friendly, great communication before our stay, and on-hand to answer all questions (as well as gift us freshly picked peaches and raspberries from the garden!). The house and garden were amazing, with incredible views from every angle. The pond/pool was perfect for cooling down on hot days, and having fun with our six year old. The location was convenient for all the main tourist attractions and towns, while feeling rural and ‘away from it all’. We LOVED it!
Highly, highly recommended.

Katherine and her family were a delight to host. So easy to communicate with before and during their stay. They looked after the house so well and left it very clean. Such polite and friendly folk. l really enjoyed a half hour sharing the pool with Katherine and her son, who is a fab young personality and lots of fun. I absolutely recommend this great wee family to any host and think you will have a very easy interaction with them.
