A little slice of paradise

We felt really lucky to have been able to stay at Bungaree for a few nights over the Easter break. The cabin was spotless and honestly so spacious for our group of 4. Beds were comfy and an amply stocked kitchen with utensils and kitchenware made our nights in cooking so easy. The cabin surrounds and serenity are amazing. Unfortunately we didn’t get around to lighting up the outdoor fire pit that Rachelle so kindly set up for us (was unseasonably warm for the end of March!). Next time we come down we’ll make sure to visit the river on the property - thank you so much Rachelle & Mick for allowing us to stay, we’ll be back!!

Spotless House but unsafe stay

The place was spotless clean, however, the stay was not safe. The wooden path lying to the entry of the house had the nails sticking out . The smoke alarm on the ceiling between bedrooms was disconnected, taken apart. The front door and one bedroom door could not lock as the locks didn't work. Somebody was walking around the veranda at night. A man, named himself Mick and claiming that he is the owner of the place, kept coming every day, was having uncomfortable conversations. According to the law, we were entitled to quiet enjoyment of the residential premises without interruption by the owner or any person claiming by, through or under the owner. This place is not safe for staying in.

In Moruya for a family 60th wedding anniversary, then on to a 94th B'day in Canberra.

Great Place to park for the stay. Sitting by the firedrum was great. Bush setting, close to nature and everything we needed. Great Hosts.

Such a beautiful property

We loved staying at this beautiful log cabin, it had everything we needed and the setting was just perfect. The kids spotted kangaroos several times and just being able to enjoy the scenery around the property was so good. Rachelle left us some fresh bread & fresh produce which was so lovely. We found the house to be a perfect size for our family and everything was so clean. Would definitely recommend anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful bush setting, while not being too far from town to grab essentials. We would love to stay again! Thanks so much Rachelle & Micheal!
