Valley View Retreat - your quiet riverside escape

WELCOME. Our hideaway is not called Valley View Retreat for nothing.
Imagine waking to the sound of bellbirds in the bushland across the valley. Enjoy an early morning coffee on the deck as the sun turn the leaves in the bushland to gold, or perhaps sip, wrapped in a blanket, as you watch the frost whiten the pastures below you. (Grazing cows have likely already attracted your attention.) Later you can explore the nearby villages and beaches, or launch your kayak onto the mirror surface of the Tuross River, a stone's throw from the house. And each evening, after a day of just relaxing or being super active, return and enjoy drinks on the verandah as the sun sets, and later curl up by the fire with a good book. Simple pleasures. Peaceful retreat.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
Valley View Retreat is situated in a secluded picturesque valley with magnificent mountain views but with easy access to the main road. It is set on 16.5 acres with about 450 m of Tuross River frontage and an adjacent dirt boat ramp. There are a number of lakes in close proximity and the beautiful beaches of Potato Point and Tuross Head are a short 12 minute drive. The combination of river, lake and beaches offer opportunities for all water activities including swimming, surfing, boating, kayaking and fishing.

LAYOUT
The house at Valley View Retreat is single-storey with an open plan kitchen, meals and lounge area. It sleeps up to a maximum of 6 people. Two bedrooms have queen size beds and the third bedroom has two single beds.

There is a single bathroom with separate toilet. The house uses tank water and a septic system.

PARKING
There is plenty of space for parking including undercover parking for two vehicles.

PETS
We regret that we are unable to accept pets as our property adjoins grazing lands.

CONTENTS
There is a top-loading washing machine and clothesline available for use by guests. There is a gas BBQ available and plenty of outdoor furniture on the covered verandah.

Bedding and linen (pillows, pillow slips, sheets, doonas, towels) are provided for the number of guests specified at time of booking. When booking, please specify sleeping configuration required, i.e. Queen bed (1 or 2), Single bed (1 or 2).


This is a NO SMOKING residence with a NO PARTY Policy.

PRICING and CHECK-IN
Pricing is contained in the calendar and will be displayed once dates are selected.
Minimum booking periods apply as specified.

EARLY CHECK-IN and LATE CHECK-OUT:
We may be able to offer our guests early check-in and late check-out, but we cannot make this guarantee at the time of booking. If you wish to avail yourself of this offer please contact us two days prior to arrival and if there are no conflicting arrivals or departures we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

INTERESTING THINGS TO SEE
There are many picturesque towns and villages located on the Eurobodalla Coast (all within 50 km). These range from Mogo with its world-class zoo to the north to the heritage villages of Tilba Tilba and Central Tilba to the south. Moruya Heads and Batemans Bay to the north, Potato Point (with a lovely beach protected from south-east winds) and Tuross Heads to the east and Narooma (with its lovely boardwalk) to the south are all within 50 km.

In Tuross Head there is a path which goes right along Tuross Boulevarde near the beaches and continues on around Coila Lake.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
We recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance. For your added security, this property is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts.
