Play some beach cricket, paddle a kayak or throw in a line. Or laze back on the expansive deck with a Tassie Pinot and some local salmon while the sea eagles soar overhead. There is no Internet access at this property, so slow down and enjoy a more relaxed pace.

Our third stay at this property! A home away from home, beautiful views and comfortable furniture. Home always spotlessly clean and has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful break away.

Beautiful true Tassie shack. The pictures don't quite do it justice, very comfortable. Loved the outdoor shower and beach straight across the road. No signal with Telstra except for out the front but that was a welcome break.

Property was very clean and well equipped. Beach frontage and ideal for photographing the Aurora Australis (when the trawlers don't have their lights on). Would love to have stayed longer and will return if possible.
Location, location, location! Pristine beach, beautiful clear water. Absolute heaven! A truly relaxing get-away. House well equipped and loved the extra touches - chocies, fresh apples etc. Look forward to returning and will not hesitate in highly recommending.
This little gem was just amazing! Just down the road from family so VERY convenient! Home had absolutley everything we needed.
Wonderful sun soaked back deck with garden setting and lounge.
Beautiful veiws out front, great kitchen and loungeroom! Cant wait to get back again this year!
Such a perfect spot for rest and relaxation! Our mid-winter stay was just what we needed after a very busy season at work.
The house is well-equipped, immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The best feature, though, is the view out the entire front of the house--simply beautiful!
There is a definite sense of being far from the crowds, but groceries and cafes are available in nearby Dover and Geeveston.
A summer visit would be fun-filled, with the beach just across the way, but a winter visit is ideal for getting away from it all and spending some time off the grid.

A tad disappointing
We arrived 40 minutes early and as we had purchased oysters asked the cleaners if we could put them in the frig. All OK. Fprtuneately the cleaners left their keys and i found that only one bathroom was accessible and caught them before they left. When i queried the one bathroom i was told that as there was only 2 of us we only needed one bathroom!..owners instructions. After insisting on 2 bathrooms i received a text from owner querying the number of people staying. 2 ! While the house is quite flash there were a few issues. The TV didnt work despite struggling with the instructions..the coffee machine didnt work. The master bedroom dressing room was piled full of spare bed frames / mattresses / doonas and pillows. The laundry was unkempt and full of vacuum cleaners etcetc. There were no dishwashing tabs or dishwashing liquid and the pantry/ butlers pantry was full of discarded groceries.I have photos to back this up. The outdoor furniture is very tired..internal rugs very tatty. At close to 400 per nite for 2 and having stayed at many houses around Tasmania we were disappointed.

Hello Jan,
We are so sorry that your stay was not up to parr but we think you may have reviewed the wrong property, while we are indeed Sea Eagle at beautiful Roaring Beach, we cannot find your booking with us and our property is certainly not flash, as it’s a family shack near the beach and actually only has the 1 bathroom Jan.
I do know there are a few Sea Eagle properties in Tasmania and I seriously do hope it wasn’t ours.
We hope you can visit Dover and the Far South area soon, we would be only too happy to show you our hospitality.
Kind regards, Tina

We loved the location next to a beautiful beach. So peaceful. The house was so spatious and had everything we needed. Lovely and clean with loads of books, games, dvds, beach gear and more. The managers were super quick to respond and very accommodating. We hope to visit again.
