Looking for the perfect getaway relaxing by the beach? Roaring Beach Retreat has stunning views overlooking the white sandy beach, as well as the natural country charm of green rolling hills to the back. Wake up to these magnificent views and fall asleep to the sound of the waves rolling in. Roaring Beach Retreat is situated a short 10 minute drive from the town of Dover where all supplies can be found as well as restaurants. Or you may prefer to cook for yourself in the well equipped modern kitchen. Relax by the log fire or enjoy a DVD from the home collection. You can watch your favourite platforms by casting from your phone Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom as well as spacious surroundings.
Revive by taking a walk along the beach or through the surrounding farmland. Take the short ride to Hastings Cave and pool, or enjoy a day trip to Cockle Creek.
We are a dog friendly house. The yard is fully fenced so your dog will be safe and have room to run about. We are happy for dogs to be inside the house and there is a dog door available.

I work full time as a high school teacher. We live in Hobart and love to get to the beach on weekends.

Why they chose this property

We built this house in 2006. We fell in love with Big Roaring Beach and the surrounding community and found the perfect block to build a holiday home for our family.

What makes this property unique

We designed the house so that all of the living was upstairs to make the most of the views. We love sitting on the front deck overlooking the ocean. The back deck has superb views of the rural setting and makes the most of the afternoon sun. Even on a cold winters day, it is impressive sitting by the open fire and watching the weather change over the ocean.
