Very quiet stay. Enjoyed having access to the kayaks. Things were clean and amenities were very well-stocked. We arrived the first day after dark, which was a bit challenging because Google Maps does not take you to the driveway correctly. Would stay here again.
Nicely situated at the end of a dead end Rd, home had everything necessary and more. The outdoor stamped concrete put you directly on the water’s edge. Nice dock system with stairs to enter the water. The wind and waves easily can lull you to sleep from the cottages front windows. From indoors to outdoors everything was well planned and stocked up for your vacation pleasure.
Well appointed lake cottage just right for us ! Fabulous location. Plan to visit again.

Great spot
Stayed for 3 nights during PGA Championship week in Rochester. The house is well stocked, very clean, right on the water, and very close to town. We enjoyed it and would stay there again, for sure.
This wasnt the biggest property but it was the most perfect for a quick getaway for two. We will definitely go back-the location sitting right on the water is perfection.
The overall experience was very nice. The weather was perfect, the area was clean, safe, and a variety of activities. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Cottage stay
The cottage was very comfortable and well stocked. We spent 3 nights in mid-October. Even though the weather was cool and rainy, we enjoyed our stay because of the beautiful view on the lake and area. The guest contact was very attentive. Would definitely stay again.

First & Second time is a Charm!
This was our second stay at this lovely little cottage and we just love it there. Everywhere inside the home offers an "infinity" view of the water. Open the windows and you can hear the gentle lapping of the waves at night for a perfect night's sleep. We will be back!
My husband, son, and o stayed here for the third time this week. As always, it was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time outside near the water or inside playing with the games provided. We will be back again!
You can't beat the location of this charming cottage. Plenty of space inside and out for our group of four sisters. The owners were very responsive when we needed help with a couple of little things,
and having the kataks and paddles was a big plus. I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again!
Great, quiet location. Perfect for a little getaway. The cottage is well maintained and very clean. You can tell that the owners take great care and pay close attention to the details. While the weather didn't cooperate for us to see a sunset, they have to be beautiful with the view off the back of the house out of the lake. If you are looking for a relaxing time away from home within easy driving distance of good food in Canandaigua and plenty of wineries this is a great choice.
My second time here. Ideal location to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. First time visiting the mansion and grounds of the Sonnenberg Gardens. I would love to come back!?
We really enjoyed the cottage on the water at Lake Canandaigua. The lake is absolutely beautiful and the location of our home was great. We really liked the way the cottage was furnished with very comfortable chairs and beds and a very antique charming look. I would recommend this cottage to anyone interested in vacationing at Lake Canandaigua. D&J
We stayed for a week and it was enjoyable. The view is beautiful. It had everything we needed and little extras stock were unexpected. We did find there needs to be a couple things updated or need of repair but it didn’t effect our stay or overall experience

Relaxing Times
The place is right on the water. You can't get any closer. The sound of the water lapping up the sea wall in the mornings and evenings was so relaxing. Sometimes, we did not want to get out of bed. We just wanted to lay there listening to the water. Great place! We'll be back.
1000% better than we had imagined. Clean, quaint and quiet. Just what was needed to get away from life for awhile. Already booked property for same time next year. The premises had a wide arrange of reading material and games. Kayaks and life jackets for all sizes. Even had a life jacket for our 11 year old golden retriever who loves to kayak.
My sister and I chose this place to decompress for a couple of days after our Mom passed away. the first day was warm, sunny, and perfect. After taking in the Canandaigua Lady boat tour, we picked up a pizza and sat outside watching the boats, birds, clouds and sunset. The second day was cool and rainy. We hung out at the cottage all day, caught up on some rest, cooked some steaks on the Grill and watched the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football. It was all good for the soul!
A very charming and cozy cottage right on the water. The proximity of the lake not only provided beautiful views from the windows that span the back bedroom and sitting room, but the constant sound of the water on the shoreline was heavenly. My pup is usually alert in new surroundings but was so relaxed in this space. The furnishings and decorations were eclectic and and comfortable and I appreciated the very "dogs welcome" vibe of the place while being very clean. We were visiting the area to hike but also found the neighborhood comfortable for short walks. Highly recommend Onanda Park uplands trail & Ganondagan Historic site for dog friendly hikes! The cottage is only minutes from the town of Canandaigua where there are plenty of options for food and walking & less than a 30min drive from Seneca Lake. A few things worth mentioning- it was rainy and chilly at the beginning of our trip so I was looking forward to the fireplace which unfortunately wasn't working. The baseboard and space heaters kept everything comfortable but did create some extra noise to get used to if you're a light sleeper. These were minor things given all the comfort and charm we found here. I was very pleased we chose it!
