We had a fabulous stay at this beautiful home, which was minutes away from Woodstock. It was clean, well organized, well equipped and nestled in a beautiful rural setting. The host was outstanding, accessible and helpful in every regard. We would definitely stay again as we loved the location, ambiance and tranquil feel!!!
The house was exactly as advertised, beautiful, cozy and warm, very well maintained and stocked with basic staples. Wonderful art and books throughout. Very close to town.We would stay here again. Minor negatives: there is no bluetooth music player (that we could find) so we would bring our own next time and there is no dishwasher.
The cabin was immaculate and so comfortable! Great location….just a short drive to Woodstock, Saugerties and even New Paltz. Check in was seamless and communication was fantastic. We’re already planning another stay. This home is a gem!
Perfect rental. Extremely clean, quiet, very well stocked and such a great location! Convenient and close to everything in the area…restaurants, hiking, biking. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We will be back!
Had a wonderful time. Everything was furnished. That is what I like when I rent a place. Close to Hyde Park if you are into history. Woodstock close by and quaint.
The Pristine Mountain Top cabin in the woods was everything we had expected. Clean, cozy, welcoming feeling with so many great details and amenities. This cabin is on our short list to return to in the future. Our Stay was excellent. Thank you!!
Wonderful property- warm and inviting, the most "home" rental property I've ever had. Host was super easy to work with and responsive, checkin was absolutely seamless.

Superbly clean! We had an excellent time at the house. It was warm and inviting, stocked with great books, music and games. Well insulated and complete with odds and ends for an easy home away from home! Perfect location to Woodstock and the region. We had baby birds outside the window and deer around. Thanks again!
Beautiful property, very close to town but still quite private surrounded by woods, loved the front porch & back screened in porch, so nice to have lots of games & things for kids to play with, they loved exploring the loft area, well-stocked kitchen for cooking breakfast, etc. Everything was perfect, thank you!!!!

The cottage is clean, beautiful, in a nice woody area close to Woodstock, has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Very easy communication with property manager.
Third time at the Cabin...as beautiful and well-maintained as ever. Again, kudos to the cleaning team for making it look immaculate each time, and to Jill whose communication with us was excellent throughout.
We absolutely loved this home. The house had everything you could possibly want, was immaculately clean and the host was an absolute joy to deal with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Will definitely go back if ever in the area again.
This cabin is perfectly placed for a friends’ weekend to Catskill, Saugerties, & Rhinebeck with the bonus of Woodstock! It provided cozy private spaces as well as a wonderful common area to relax with friends. The autumn views from the front porch were spectacular, even with a little rain. The cabin was immaculately kept and well-equipped. Looking forward to another visit to explore more of the area!
We stayed for a romantic fun weekend getaway. The house is immaculate. Furniture and decor are perfect! Artwork themed mostly around music legends, reflecting the infamous Woodstock location. The house was not only incredibly neat, but also incredibly clean, not only on counters/table tops but even inside drawers, etc. Pic’s are all accurate. Great hiking trails minutes away, ski at Hunter mtn (not too far), and despite the fact that the cabin is surrounded by woods, Woodstock’s shops, galleries restaurants are just five minutes away. I couldn’t have asked for more. I would definitely recommend it, and would gladly stay here again!
This was our first Vrbo stay so we were a bit unsure of what to expect. Our expectations were exceeded ten-fold.
The cabin was perfectly clean and upstairs nook was so lovely. We also enjoyed the exquisite collection of classical music CDs ranging from Liszt to Bach to Beethoven. The backyard was large and lovely as well.
The one thing we didn’t expect was that the water smelled like sulfur. Think that’s common to the area though, not specific to this cabin.
Other that than everything was perfect. Hope to stay here again in the future!
The cabin location was very scenic, but when we pulled up to property it was not very appealing. The porch was dirty and the furniture dusty and old. Management forgot to leave a key and we had to contact someone to open cabin for us. The inside was clean and and views were really nice, but again furnishings were old and need of replacement. We also had ants crawling out of the drain in the bathroom.

Again, Daniel, I'm so sorry that there was a mixup regarding your check-in date. That has never happened before, and I've taken steps to ensure that it never happens again. Fortunately I live less than a mile from the cabin and was able to meet you within minutes. I appreciate your patience and understanding, and am glad I was also able to answer your questions about the area and offer suggestions/recommendations when we met. As I explained at the time, the porch and outdoor furniture were indeed cleaned that morning, but because the pine pollen is thick this time of year (you can literally see yellow clouds of it billowing through the forest during the last 2 weeks of May) it was a bit of a lost cause. I'm sure you also discovered a thick layer of yellow "dust" on your car as well. Regarding the furnishings, they are exactly as pictured in our listing (except that the TV has been upgraded). Although the decor is not "fancy", it is tasteful, comfortable, and perfectly suited for a simple/rustic cabin in the woods. Lastly, I am so sorry to hear that you were disturbed by ants. We notified the exterminator as soon as we read your review, and it has been taken care of. We appreciate you bringing the issue to our attention so that future guests are not disturbed. We only regret that we didn't find out in time to address and resolve the issue for you. Again, Daniel, we thank you for your visit, and congratulations again on your family wedding.
This rental is very much as depicted in the posting. Some excellent features: there are plenty of places to unpack clothing (closets are generous and a dresser on the main floor), the loft is perfect for Pilates, yoga or most other exercise, there were plenty of tissues, toilet paper and garbage bags, many books and games (I wish I had had more time for reading!). Also worth mentioning is the lovely extra space provided by the comfortable front porch and the small screened in porch. We enjoyed using the well kept up grill.
Please be aware that the stairs are very steep. Not an issue for us but small children or anyone with mobility issues should take note.
There were only a couple of picky things that kept me from giving this 5 stars ( I would have given a 9/10 or 4 1/2 stars if that had been an option!) The downstairs shower curtain really needs replacing. It was thin and unattractive -really just a liner that needed replacing instead of a real curtain. Although there is a washer/dryer, one towel and washcloth per person for a week is skimpy. I was excited to see a bin of towels above the washer but it was labeled for private use. My brother and his wife were supposed to come for a few days and that would have meant plenty of washloads. As it was, I did wash them but it was such a small load that it felt wasteful. Lastly, be aware that the shampoo, conditioner and soap are an all-in-one item. if you want separate ones, you will have to bring them.
I would stay again!
We liked this cabin in the woods so much we came back in the Fall. Kudos, first, to the cleaning team - when you walk in, the cabin is immaculate and it feels like you're the first people to ever stay there. Everything you need is there to cook or grill; and there are several fine restaurants in Woodstock for when you don't want to. Communication is excellent, and the cabin is exactly as pictured (even better, actually). We cannot wait to return in the winter to experience it in yet another season of the year.
