Perfect cabin near the lakes!

We had such a great weekend color tour and absolutely loved using this cozy cabin as our home base! It’s in the perfect spot—close to Higgins and Houghton Lakes, tons of beautiful trails, and just a short drive to Hartwick Pines. The cabin was super clean, comfortable, charming decor, and had everything we could possibly need. The host was friendly and responsive, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We’d definitely book this cabin again!

The cabin was very clean & pet friendly. I will be booking this property again & will highly recommend. The booking process was very easy, check in was a breeze. The breezeway between the house & the garage made the perfect place to place our dog crates. There was a back door leading directly to the backyard for a quick potty place, especially at night.

Wonderful Visit!

I came here with my dog for some much-needed rest and relaxation. Perfect place. Check in was very easy. The place was very clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable. Everything I needed to prepare meals was available. I had a wonderful stay, I would definitely come back here 😊

Relaxing getaway

My husband and I stayed here for four days. Property was exceptionally clean and communication with host was easy. I have been unfortunately under the weather so I really enjoyed laying on the couch with the cozy fireplace on watching Netflix. We did take advantage of the 70 degree weather and took our dog to Higgins lake and walked around the area.

Perfect!

Cute, cozy, quiet cabin! We loved our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. (Ps the upstairs AC was nice and cold!) The beds and linens were nice too. Little things like the hand soap and hand towels were so nice, as we have stayed at many rentals that didn’t provide anything at all. VERY NICE! Thank you, we had a great time. Would definitely rent again.

Cute and Charming

You never know how a property will work out. This one hit it out of the park. Great welcome basket! It was a great location for us. Close to The Barn wedding venue. Very quite, clean, well stocked with items needed. We stayed there with our 80 year father and it worked perfectly for him. He said the bed on the lower level was very comfortable. He loved sitting at the fire pit even when there was no fire. Just the sounds of nature made him smile. The beds upstairs where comfortable. Air conditioning was perfect. The place could use a another mirror in the lower level bedroom for getting ready. We did make it work. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone staying in the area.

We stayed here twice this summer, and we look forward to coming back in the future! Very clean, easy communication with host, cabin is very up to date and cute. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils and we even used the grill one night. Only warning is if you sleep in the upstairs loft it can get a little toasty, so the second time staying there I brought a fan with me.

Very cute home for long weekend at Higgins Lake. We found it to be very clean. Well equipped kitchen with all the pots, pans and dishes you could need. Loved the open loft space for teenager, the pullout sofa was comfortable. Only thing missing was a BBQ grill, that would've been perfect for the weekend. Very responsive and good communication. Would book again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful Stay

We chose this cabin because our daughter got married at The Barn at Higgins Lake, approx 1/2 mile away. The cabin is very roomy, clean and has a loft area with bedroom, bathroom and sitting area. Our 16 year old loved his “own space”. My mom stayed with us the second night and loved it as well! We couldn’t be happier with our weekend getaway!

Loved this home

This house was so cozy and comfortable. We loved our stay here. The owners put so much thought into practical items such as lots of hooks, blankets, pillows, beach chairs, fully stocked kitchen etc. The beds were very comfortable. Upstairs was great for our 2 older kids. Loft was nice. Neiborhood was quiet. The S higgins lake public beach and Nibbles ice cream shop were just 5 minutes away. We saw lots of deer and will definitely book this property the future. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

My wife and I needed a weekend getaway with the kids because of the lack of sunshine here in Michigan. This place certainly brightened the day. First off, my daughter (14) and wife loved the look of it in their ad. I certainly delivered in person. Second, it was cozy and warm, and even my son (17), who doesn't generally care about aesthetics, really enjoyed the place. Check-in was good. Host communication is excellent. And the beds, I swept so well. My wife said the same. We'll be back. Thank Jenn.

Up North Retreat

My family had a wonderful getaway at this property. Everything was wonderful, from the amenities, to the snack basket, to the fire pit. My kids brought their scooters from home and enjoyed riding up and down the long driveway. We sat aroind the fire pit each night of our stay. My kods were sad to leave this sweet up north retreat.

Cute and cozy. Very convenient for everything we had planned for our weekend. We only ended up with 6 people total, 2 adults and 4 teen boys... and that was perfect. Well furnished kitchen and bathroom.
