Very private, spacious, plenty of seating both inside and out; the kitchen is stocked with everything needed for meal prep and cooking, we loved that each bedroom has its own bathroom, and the hot tub screened porch is fantastic. Annual Sisters Trip

This house was exactly as stated and so comfortable. We have stayed in Elijay a few times and hope to return to this property to enjoy the outside a bit more. It is a good location, secluded but easily accessible to downtown. The house is well accommodated and the owners were very pleasant to work with. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Cabin

This was our second time staying here and we will be back. We love the set up of this cabin inside and out. Very roomy and peaceful. The hosts make sure there is plenty of things to do at the cabin itself. Whether winding down from a day of sight seeing/hiking or enjoying a rainy/relaxation day this location and its amenities are perfect. We are already planning our next week long stay. The hosts are very helpful with any requests or questions. HIGHLY recommend.

We visited for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful and well equipped with a wonderful view. The location is close to quaint downtown Ellijay and beautiful waterfalls. We had a couple of questions and the host was quick to respond. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway!

We loved our time at this property! It was incredibly clean and well-stocked. They’ve truly thought of everything! The owners were very communicative both prior to our arrival and during our stay. It was a perfect weekend getaway for our young family. Our toddlers loved running around the yard and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. Close to many of the apple orchards and convenient to Ellijay. We will definitely be back!

Clean and cozy

Me and my husband (and 10 month old) stayed here when we went to see Amicalola Falls. Lovely home! So many details—paper towels, coffee, baby gate. I appreciated the keyboard and french press. We couldn’t build a fire outdoors because of a burn ban but the gas logs were super cozy. We decided not to use the fireplace near the hot tub but if we come that way again, maybe next time! I usually bring my water pitcher filter but with the delicious spring water I didn’t have to.

Pure bliss

Family trip to celebrate our youngest daughter’s 21st birthday. Cabin was well equipped with everything we needed, down to cake pans and an offset spatula for making her cake. Plenty of entertainment from board games, basketball, baby/kids toys, and electronic games. Location is beautiful and peaceful. Evenings on the porch with a fire or out in the yard around the fire pit were a treat. Close to many activities/places to visit. Hosts were communicative and very nice. We will be back for sure!

A Great Cabin - A Great Visit

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the "bear cabin," and the owners are attentive and responsive. They have stocked the cabin with nearly every possible amenity, giving little reason to even leave the property for days. The cabin is spacious and very comfortable – my family didn't want to leave!We had a family Thanksgiving and birthday celebration, and we couldn't have felt more at home. We enjoyed the gas-log fireplace, the outdoor fire pit, and the hot tub. Even though we were way back in the woods, we experienced no issues with the WiFi and Internet connectivity.Through the years, we have rented vacation homes in several states, and this was among the best places we have stayed. I can't imagine a better guest experience in a rental property.

Our stay was most certainly an experience to remember. The tranquility is captivating with the cabin itself being a delightful haven. The amenities offer a modern comfort while the structure offers a rustic charm. The hot tub, the fireplaces, the campfire, the furniture - everything about this cabin is warm and inviting! The kitchen is fully equipped so we enjoyed some home cooked meals! Every switch and shelf is labeled, the attention to detail in this cabin is unbeatable! Lovely cabin with a beautiful view

This stay was our post wedding weekend getaway and we really didn't want to leave! The home was more beautiful than the advertised pictures and really really cozy! I absolutely loved the backyard with the mountains and the trees - we were also lucky to spot some fireflies while chatting around the fire! We have already started to plan re-visiting this place with our family and spending more time here next time!

Best Cabin I’ve ever been to

One of the best cabins I have been to. We had an amazing stay. It is loaded with all needed amenities that one would need and more. The hot tub with an amazing view is all you need in the woods. There’s a fire pit around which you can sit and have fun with your friends and folks. The binder has all the details of what all one can do around the cabin. Would 100/100 recommend coming here if you want to wind down and just chill. Thanks to the host for the amazing stay. ❤️

We actually didn't even leave the property for almost 3 days. It was equipped with anything we needed. Great that all rooms were on 1 level. Hot tub was nice. We played games and watched some movies.

Lovely get-away

We spent several nights at Laurel Hill while attending a nearby wedding. It was so convenient to stop at Ingles market on the way north and then just relax when we got there. We took a day hike at Tumbling Water and toured two wineries, along with a lunch and dinner in Ellijay ( Emily’s). It’s a beautiful area and this was a beautiful cabin to spend time in. On a clear night, you can see so many stars from the Adirondack chairs overlooking the hills in the back yard. Thank you to our hosts, Dave and Debbie!
