Walking distance from the beautiful township of Gloucester and 45 mins to surrounding National Parks and rivers. Grab a coffee from any of the 4 cafes and take a gentle stroll through picturesque Gloucester District Park along the babbling Gloucester River meandering at the foot of The Bucketts Mountains. Peruse through the Gloucester Art Gallery. and shops. Enjoy the many scenic bushwalks into ancient forests, kayaking on the Barrington River and country drives into the backcountry whilst visiting some of the local markets and wineries. Great stay

Rose Cottage was just lovely, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. It was convenient situated and Beatrice was very pleasant and had good information about where to go and what to see. We would definitely stay there again

The property is surrounded by beautiful garden, creating a peaceful and tranquil environment. The B & B is beautifully maintained and is an absolute gem, we would stay again in a heartbeat. Our host Beatrice is delightful, very friendly and helpful and Max the dog made us feel very welcome too.

Our host was very friendly and helpful and also left us to our privacy. The room was very tastefully decorated and small touches such as magazines made it comfy. The TV service dropped out a couple of times. Thanks for your hospitality

Absolutely perfect

My friend and I spent a week at the property to reset and escape from life for a little while. Rose Cottage was absolutely perfect in everyway and Gloucester is just wonderful.

Gloucester escape

Had a weekend getaway in Gloucester staying in Rose Cottage. A very cosy cottage situate in pretty surroundings. The dog park across the road was a bonus for our active dog Tilley. We loved the peace and quiet of the area. Beatrice was a thoughtful host and we appreciated her hints and tips as to what’s going on in Gloucester. Highly recommend a stay at Rose Cottage.

Quick break in Gloucester

Beatrice was a friendly host and fixed an issue with the portable air conditioner quickly. The studio is in a quiet location and a short 15-20 walk from town. The driveway is pretty narrow if you want to park off road, so best for small cars only. I think it could get quite warm inside if booking a summer stay. There isn't much dog friendly accommodation in Gloucester, so this was a good find.

Great for a short stay

Beatrice's property is a cosy little studio that is perfect for a stay for a night or two. It is immaculately clean and well-equipped with what you need. It is not really walking distance from town, but only a short drive. There is a lounge and tv, but no table of any kind so if you like to spread out, it is fairly close confines. The garden surrounding the house is lovely. We had beautiful weather so enjoyed sitting out there. We were grateful that we were able to bring our little dog with us as well. Overall, an enjoyable visit.

Rose Cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay in Gloucester to explore the area and Barrington Tops National Park. Beatrice is a very helpful and friendly host and her separate guest accommodation is charming. The room and ensuite are beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean with handy kitchen items for enjoyment of breakfast and take-away. Outside is a delightful garden and private deck areas to enjoy. We would have no hesitation in staying here again - thank you Beatrice and all the very best to you.

A lovely cozy hideaway

Just perfect

Beatrice has put together the most charming, warm and comfortable studio. We loved our couple of nights here. The garden is magic, and has a private area for guests with a fire pit, and place to sit in the sun. Lovely welcome from Beatrice, who was there if needed, but otherwise left us to enjoy our stay.
