Property was beautiful. Owners live next door and we’re very helpful and friendly. Very comfortable beds and a nice welcome gift. Property is right near a bike trail, coffee shop, E-bike stand, and trolley stop. You’ll sleep a lot better than you would in The French Quarter proper.
This property did not disappoint, it was exactly as pictured in the listing. The home was beautifully decorated and completely stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners went above and beyond to show us hospitality, including gifting us with a bottle of wine and treats. My guest and I were very pleased and I highly recommend this property!
We really enjoyed using this cute double as “home base” during our search. It was wonderful to meet both Chris and Anita. The attention to detail was everywhere! I highly recommend this listing.
We got to meet Chris the owner of the property. He was so kind. He gave us a lot of information on things to do and places to go. This home was gorgeous. Walking distance to the trolley, and a close drive to everything. We had a fabulous time!!
Thank you so much for a great relaxing weekend!
Overall our experience was great and the property matched the listing very well. On arrival there was a problem with the door code but the property manager had it sorted out within minutes. The decorum was quite endearing and the welcome gift was a very nice touch. Despite the road construction going on out front we were able to find parking on the street within a block of the property all weekend and once done the house will be on one of the best quality streets in the city. The location is away from the craziness of the Quarter but it is a straight and easy jaunt down Canal to get there so your travel times are short.
This is a beautiful historic southern home, half of a two-story side-by-side duplex. The owners keep it sparking clean and all amenities (appliances, shower, wood floors, AC, wifi, etc.) are in good condition. The main-floor spaces (living, dining, kitchen) fit our family (of six) comfortably.
We loved the location, in a nice neighborhood within easy walking distance of numerous restaurants and grocery, also the streetcar that takes you to the riverfront/ French Quarter. We took advantage of all those things -- cooked several meals at home, went to some great neighborhood restaurants, and rode the streetcar into downtown for some shopping and bar-hopping.
Overall, we found this property to be an excellent value for the money, and we'd stay again if we returned to town.
Adorable house in a great location! Safe neighborhood. Walk to bars/restaurants or the trolly station. Quick Uber ride to all main locations in NOLA! The owners were so helpful and gave great restaurant recommendations. One bedroom connects to the other so you have to walk through it to get to the bathroom but for a girl's trip - this was no problem. The house has original hardwoods (survived Katrina!) and lots of great history! We wanted a true shot gun style New Orleans home with tall ceilings and all the things that make these historic homes part of the charm of New Orleans. This was perfect. Would definitely stay here again when we come back!
The hosts contacted me well before check-in time and gave me instructions for how to access the house. Their instructions were clear, and we were able to enter with no problems. When we arrived, there was a convenient instruction manual as well as a manual on transportation and local restaurants located on the cocktail table in the front room. This home was spacious and immaculate. It felt nice to come back to after running around all day. The beds were very comfortable and there were smart televisions in each bedroom. The bedrooms also included a towel, washcloth, and hand towel for each guest. This home is located within walking distance of a couple of restaurants which made our stay there even better. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you plan to take a trip to New Orleans. The hosts were so gracious and made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay there again.
This was an amazing property!!!! Being so close to the streetcar REALLY was a BONUS, we didn't have to drive anywhere! Much recommeded

Very well appointed
This home is so charming and you can feel the history. It was so easy to get around since it’s right off the Canal streetcar line. Hosts have a solid list of restaurants within walking distance and I liked the keyless entry/security lock. It was a great place to read or watch tv when it rained. Nicely stocked kitchen. Good water pressure in shower always important. Really beautiful space.
This house was completely updated, yet still had lots of charm!
extremely clean and comfortable! This was our first time to New Orleans and having this house to stay in made us feel more at ease. Owners were very nice and communication was great!
From the pre stay contact to the treats left for our enjoyment -to the recommendations for great places to eat, -to the walking convenience of this location -to the quiet environment and comfortable beds, this place was first class and I couldn’t have asked for more. Will definitely return.
Such a cozy and cute home with so much personality. Nestled right in the heart of Midcity, close to many fun places and restaurants. Would absolutely love to stay again!
Best New Orleans traditional house. So very beautiful.
The Hosts will not be matched! So very helpful and generous! We truly owe it to them for our fabulous stay in New Orleans. Their recommendations we all excellent! We wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
We loved our time in this beautiful home. The architecture including floors, fireplaces and brick walls felt like such a historic home. At the same time everything was renovated and so clean. The place is super spacious and the photos in the listing are really accurate. We really enjoyed the backyard, eating in the dining room and we all took baths in the claw foot tub. The neighborhood was also really nice with restaurants recommended by the host that we really enjoyed. The location is ideal with the trolley a half block away. This was my first time staying in Mid City and really liked it. The hosts were super helpful and made sure to do special touches like greeting us with a card and special snacks and had lots of recommendations in their booklet. I highly recommend this rental for your next NOLA stay.

AMAZING!
We had a short, but sweet getaway, and it was made absolutely perfect at this special home away from home. Chris and Anita were wonderful hosts, and provided all the information anyone could ask for to enjoy their neighborhood with great dining out suggestions, directions to get around town, and hospitality. The house was so comfortable, and we loved the beautiful exposed brick in the bedrooms! We all felt we had ample space and privacy to ourselves. The classic claw foot tub was an amazing feature that we all loved. Even in such an amazing city with endless things to do and see, we were also just as happy relaxing in the great Mid City home!
We loved this stay. The house is over a 100 years old Victorian with lots of gingerbread, totally renovated this year. Lots of old New Orleans charm plus modern appliances, new beds and cold cold ac. The property is actually 3 BR, not 2, but one is a walk through. Lovely friendly hosts who are in the hospitality industry so they thought of everything. Lots of wonderful little touches like full size coffee pot, fully furnished kitchen, cozy blanket throws, great book selection, even post-it notes with pen, scissors and tape. Fantastic location a half block from the Canal streetcar and Mandina’s. We can’t wait to come back.
