Sitting right on the calm waters of Kangaroo Point Reserve, you can watch the family play on the beach from the comfort of your balcony or the grassed area in front, perfect for a picnic with the best views in the Bay. For the more active holiday maker, bring the kayaks or paddleboards and spot the marine life with dolphins and stingrays often passing by within view.
Only a stroll to the Salamander Bay Wharf, popular for fishing or Soldiers Point Bowling Club, The famous Rick Stein's Restaurant and Bannisters Resort combined with level access makes this a popular retreat for families and retirees alike. Walking distance from the Sailing club makes it a great position for the yearly Sail Port Stephens event with the clubhouse hosting a Cafe for morning tea with a view.

Soldiers Point lies on a peninsula that juts out from the southern shores of Port Stephens and separates the eastern third of the port from the western two-thirds. It is surrounded by absolute waterfront. With stunning waterways, tranquil bushland and calm safe swimming beaches all on offer, you’ll never want to go leave.
It’s close to the popular Nelson Bay, and shares many of the same traits as its neighbours. There is a fine marina, a relaxed lifestyle and calm beach waters. The jetties on either side of the point offer great fishing.
Pets are not welcome at this property.
The charging of any electric vehicles, electric bicycle, electric scooter, electric skateboard, segway or other like devices (Electric Personal Mobility Devices) or the battery for an Electric Personal Mobility Device is Prohibited in this property.
To ensure the comfort of our guests and neighbours, we do not accept bookings for 'Schoolies' breaks/under 21yrs groups and under no circumstances do we allow parties of any sort.
Kindly note a deposit of 50% AUD of total amount will be charged at time of confirmation. An option of direct deposit and credit card is offered.
A 500 Security Deposit (pre authorisation) is to be held. The bond will be processed prior to arrival. We only accept Mastercard or visa.
You can check in anytime between the hours of 3pm and 5pm on Weekdays. On weekdays after-hours, weekends and public holidays there is an afterhours check-in service. If you require this service, please inform one of the members at LJ Hooker Nelson Bay prior to your day of arrival.
Payment for the booking warrants you and all guests staying will abide by the Code of Conduct for Short Term Rental Accommodation which can be viewed on our website which will be sent to you in your booking confirmation email. This property is a holiday rental, it is not a principal place of residence.

We stayed on a long weekend and it still was very peaceful and quiet. The apartment and photos are exactly what you have.

View from front balcony was great. Very tidy , clean and comfortable- everything you need a stay was there A bonus would be to have shampoo and conditioner ( that didn’t feel like you were using someone else’s leftovers) and the hairdryer wasn’t great.Furniture and beds all comfy and the apartment while a little dated in the bathrooms was spacious.There is construction next door - thankfully they stopped work for Xmas holidays one day after we got there- the angle grinder on day 2 was noisy - we were out much of the day.The photos and descriptions do not note any construction.Beautiful spot we really enjoyed our stay
