Beautiful home!!
New home on the mountain side. Views were beautiful! Hot tub was relaxing! Highly recommend!
We came down to ride Maggie Valley and surrounding areas. The location was central to everything we did and was a great place to rest our heads. The hot tub was perfect to relax after a full day of riding!!!
The house was great smaller than I thought but plenty of room. The driveway would be a little tough in a car I would think but we had jeeps so we were good. We will definitely rent from them again.
Clean, comfortable, and serene. Beautiful views, kids loved the hot tube. House is equipped for most kitchen and household needs! Would love to stay in the winter!

Relaxation Getaway
House was clean, well-stocked and accommodating.! The driveway is just hard to get out of, needs to be a paved or concrete driveway not gravel.
The house was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had all necessary appliances and more. The hot tub was clean and hot even in the snow! The only problem we had was not being able to get back up the driveway due to the gravel being wet and ice forming when it snowed, but we ended up just parking our cars at the top of the driveway and had no issues. Overall, a great stay.I would not take a car that doesn’t have 4 wheel drive.

Beautiful home near town
The home itself was very nice with a split bedroom floor plan which is always nice. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but could use a mixer, pizza cutter, and a few spatulas, but has lots of pots and pans and baking pans. When we arrived someone had obviously stepped on the air vent cover in the LR as it was broke on both sides and this poses a real danger for small children as the vent itself is large enough to fall into should a child fall through that flimsy cover!! Also the chairs on the bottom hot tub deck need to be replaced as they are brittle and breaking. Two were set aside when we arrived and one cracked along the side when we sat on it so it joined the other two broken ones. The beds were fairly comfortable except for the trundle which could use a mattress topper as it feels as though you’re sleeping on springs, it would be fine for a child but if an adult is sleeping on it you feel the springs in the mattress. Other than that it is a very accommodating, clean home. Take note the drive going down to the house is quite steep to the point that when you first drive in you cannot see the drive as it drops down which can seem a bit scary but it isn’t hard to get in and out of just drive slow and be careful when coming out as you can’t see cars coming from above. Last thing to be aware of is that the home is just above the very busy road of Jonathon Creek so you do hear road noise but it quiets down in the evenings!!Hot tub was very nice and we enjoyed it.
The cabin was great clean and had everything one would need but was a little short on toilet paper.. but the big problem was the driveway unless you are in a truck it’s really hard to go up and down on Harleys or a car had a lot of ruts in it but other than that I would stay there again but being a bike rider I don’t think we will just because of drive way
This property is amazingly beautiful. The view is amazing. You can open the door from the main room and see the mountains its gorgeous. The house is very clean and stocked with just about everything you need. However our one and only complaint is the driveway it is terrrible
it says trailer parking. You could not get a trailer down that driveway and then you certainly wouldnt get it out. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful home near Maggie Valley, blue ridge parkway and historic Waynesville. Beautiful Mountain View in a really nice neighborhood. Gravel Driveway was a little steep, but mother in laws 2020 Honda civic made it up with no issues. (June 2023). Internet was great, beds were really nice, and everything was clean. thank you for renting us your little piece of heaven We will book this place again
Great house, convenient to Great Smoky Mountain NP
The house was as described. Very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with more than enough dishes, bowls, glassware and cutlery. There were plenty of pots and pans for cooking and they were in very good shape. We enjoyed the back porch overlooking the mountains and the hot tub. There were six people in our group and there was a spot for everyone to sleep. The house was conveniently located for access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Oconaluftee entrance of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park and just a 30-35 minute drive to Asheville and the Biltmore Estate.
Everything was amazing except the driveway. Wow that’s a dangerous situation especially on a Harley or any vehicle that’s not lifted with 4x4. The steep slope and gravel make for large mounds of loose gravel with deep holes that can bottom out a sedan easily. I’m a highly skilled motorcycle rider so I traversed this with extreme care and didn’t damage it. The neighbors were great and let me borrow a rake to smooth out the high spots manually (not what I should be doing on vacation). That being said a simple investment in asphalt and proper drainage would alleviate this issue immediately and make this property a 6 out of 5 star property. Everything else was fantastic and the driveway was the only thing I could complain about. Clean, beautiful and top of the line finishes and technology available. Would stay again if driveway is fixed.

Charming cabin
The cabin is very well located, close to restaurants and the ski area. We found it very clean and with everything necessary for our stay, very well equipped in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It has a very nice view of the mountains that can be seen from the wooden deck that is very beautiful. The cabin is very cozy and charming.
We came up with a list of suggested recommendations, which we found very helpful for learning about and doing things in and around Maggie Valley and Asheville.
It also has all the information about the ski center, equipment rental and everything perfectly explained, which made everything much easier.
Thank you very much for thinking of all the details.
We enjoyed our stay very much, we will see you again for sure! :)
There were 7 of us for a family girl's trip ranging in age from 25-71 and this house was perfect for our get together. We loved the openness of the home and the large dining table. The beds and living room furniture were really comfy. We absolutely loved the fact that there was a hot tub as it was not in the original photos when we booked! We enjoyed many nights unwinding from our day's adventures in the hot tub! The only minor negative would be the driveway which is incredibly steep. Even having a 4 wheel drive vehicle and putting it into 4 wheel drive on the gravel setting, we had a struggle or two getting up the driveway after it rained. Being from the midwest and very experienced driving in snow, I would be nervous navigating that driveway in the winter. This was the first year of what we hope will be an annual girl's trip and we will absolutely return to this home!

Beautiful Mountain Views
The back porch, mountain view, open concept and helpful full-time neighbors were the best qualities of this property. As mentioned in previous reviews, the driveway is very steep and does not have a gravel bonding agent, just gravel, that constantly needs to be raked and restored. The host was not happy when we tried to bring our trailer up the driveway and our tires spun, digging up some of the gravel from the driveway. I left the host a note with suggestions for the enjoyment of future guests: Fix garbage disposal, provide more than one blanket for the 3 bedrooms, provide more than one wine glass, make sure the clocks are working and batteries are replaced (none of the 3 clocks were working). Replace empty spices and provide more than one roll of paper towels and put up the other closet panel on the washer and dryer. I stay in short-term rentals all of the time and my family also owns one. I just want the owner and host to be the best they can be so that their beautiful rental will continue to be lucrative. I know the host and owner will take care of the things that I mentioned because they have done so when other guests left reviews and suggestions. The best part of our trip was having an amazing visit with family and meeting Missy, Jack, and Ozzie next door.

Response from VrboOwner on 9 June 2025
Hi Denise, we’re so glad you enjoyed the mountain view, and the neighborhood, but we’re sorry other aspects fell short of expectations. After sending your feedback to the owner, we'd like to share the following:- The driveway is typical for mountain homes in North Carolina, where gravel surfaces and steep grades are common. While different from non-mountain driveways, it meets local standards and is regularly maintained.- Towing a trailer on mountain slopes requires careful driving to avoid tire spin, which can disturb the gravel but isn’t due to property neglect.- There are multiple blankets and a full set of wine glasses at the property. The homeowner encourages guests to reach out during their stay if anything additional is needed.- The homeowner values constructive feedback and consistently addresses guest suggestions. They’ll review your notes to keep everything in great shape for future guests. We appreciate your feedback so we can continue to improve and support the homeowner in providing guests with the 5-star service he is known for.
