Once again we were very impressed with the property. Everything we needed for a short stay, would love to have stayed longer! Matt and Louise were very helpful and accommodating. Would not hesitate to recommend Misty Pines.
Amazing hosts, we’re so grateful to have been able to stay. We couldn’t have asked for more. The photos do not do it justice -immaculately clean, bright, warm and cozy with fantastic views. Don’t hesitate to book. This place is very special.
Misty Pines was a wonderfully relaxing place to stay, especially with beautiful sunshine filling the house throughout our stay, happily it was still cold enough at night to have the perfect excuse to light the fire too. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, clean and well appointed, and our hosts, Louise and Matthew, were both friendly, helpful and incredibly responsive. We only stayed a couple of nights, but it would be a lovely spot to stay for longer. We would very happily stay there again!
We needed some accommodation at short notice and both Louise and Matthew responded to our queries promptly and booking was easy. The house is very well set up with everything we needed. A highlight was feeding the King parrots out of our hands, they turned up promptly every morning to say hello! Would definitely book it again.
We had a lovely two night stay on the upstairs floor of this property in April. The house was very clean, comfortable and warm with a gas fireplace and central heating (always important in the cooler months in the Southern Highlands). As other reviewers have noted, the beds were super comfy. And feeding the very tame parrots in the morning was a treat.
Louise and Matthew were a pleasure to deal with and the property is well located between Bowral and Mittagong. I’d be more than happy to stay here again.
We stayed in the upper level of this house (empty downstairs) and it was just as beautiful as the photos. Comfortable beds, super-clean, kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, cutlery and crockery. Nice and quiet area with views across town to the hills in the distance. Lovely North-facing living room, central heating and gas fireplace meant we kept nice and warm throughout our stay in August. I highly recommend this house and will stay again when in the Southern Highlands. Louise was very prompt at responding to any queries we had.
We had a lovely stay at Misty Pines. The house was very clean and well stocked. It is in a great location on Mt Gibraltar between Mittagong and Bowral. We loved feeding the parrots and saying hello to the kangaroos at the bottom of the street.
The fire pit and gas fireplace created a cosy ambiance, and the central heating helped everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. We had fun toasting marshmallows and watching the stars.
The kitchen is great, with a coffee machine and gas stove, and the bathtub is perfect for a soak.
I highly recommend staying at Misty Pines and would love to come back.
Thanks Louise and Mattew.
