This waterfront Kiawah Island vacation rental home features five bedrooms, a private pool and spa, a deep water dock, and captivating views of the Kiawah River. The home is conveniently located in Kiawah's West Beach area, approximately a 5-minute bike ride from the beach.
Ascend the grand brick staircase, and you will find yourself on a gracious front porch nestled among nature. Once inside the home, you will immediately notice the breathtaking river vistas that pour through floor-to-ceiling windows. Offering an open floor plan designed to highlight the water views, this home has a seamless flow ideal for gathering. In the living area, you will appreciate the coffered ceilings, comfortable white sofas, and wall-mounted picture frame TV. Fit for a chef, the open kitchen has a large island with bar stool seating, white cabinetry, high-end appliances, and a corner breakfast nook.
Five bedrooms, all with river views and private bathrooms, invite you to relax and recharge during your vacation. The primary suite is on the main level and provides a king-sized bed, a TV, access to the pool deck, and a luxurious private bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Ascend the stairs to the second level, where you will find three additional bedrooms: two with queen-sized beds and one with two twin-sized beds. The third floor houses the final bedroom, which has two twin-sized beds.
With a screened porch, pool deck, and private dock overlooking the Kiawah River, this home invites you to experience outdoor living at its finest. The spacious screened porch has comfortable seating, a ceiling fan, and access to the deck. Truly an outdoor oasis, the sundeck boasts a private pool, a spa, and lounge seating surrounded by lush vegetation. The pool is roughly 11.5x16, 4 feet deep. Follow the path to the private deep-water dock, where you'll enjoy watching sunsets and sunrises, catching glimpses of dolphins, or sipping an evening cocktail by the water. The dock allows you to launch a kayak directly into the water or arrange for a boat rental during your stay.
The fun doesn't stop there! Make your way to the garage and enjoy a friendly game of pool or foosball in the game area.
The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet. Pets are not permitted.
The pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for an additional fee of $75 per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available. This property is beautiful and in a beautiful location. The problem we had was the cleanliness of the house. I had to clean out the fridge before we could put anything in there, clearly no one even opened it. The cabinets had splatters on them that I had to wipe down. There was dirty dishes in the dishwasher and a dirty glass in the sink. I pulled dishes and cookware out of the cabinets as well as silverware that had food crusted on it. We had a chef come in for a private dinner and he had to wash all the silverware and glassware before he set the table.I had to call regarding more linens and to report that 2 toilets were VERY dirty. The oven has oven cleaner dripping down crusted in-between the glass that looks terrible and the bottom of the oven had spills. They did send a crew out to clean the baths and bring more towels. I called about pool towels and was told that they do not supply pool towels, thought that was strange since there is a pool. They did then come with pool towels. The biggest issue that never got addressed was the fact that one of the bed in the queen room had a bloody stain that seaped into the mattress pad. I was told "thank you for the photos". This is a health issue that never got addresses except to bring more linens and they were dropped on the front door. If this was my property I would have had the mattress replaced and had someone at least call me. The pool couple that was in that room was traumatized. they slept on towels.

As we've conveyed previously, that is not our standard of cleanliness by any means, and we are glad we were able to send team members out to address each complaint quickly. From our records, I see that our team did respond to report of the stain on the foot of the mattress, bringing out new linens. As we didn't have one on hand, our team member went to purchase a new mattress topper, but we were advised that you had done so already. In addition, $1000 was refunded for your inconveniences. We are sorry to hear of your continued disappointment, but do feel that our response and resolution was appropriate given the circumstances.
