Round House Retreat on the Bay is a beautifully renovated four-bedroom, four-bath home (one bathroom is downstairs beneath the house), situated 7.4 miles down the peaceful, scenic Ft. Morgan Peninsula. Enjoy a large wrap-around balcony overlooking the bay, along with a brand-new pier and boat slip just steps from your door.



PET FRIENDLY — Two dogs (maximum weight 50 lbs each) are permitted in this home. If you plan to bring pets, please notify us in advance. A non-refundable $150 pet fee per dog will be added to your stay. Any additional cleaning required will be billed to the credit card on file.



This updated coastal retreat features brand-new beds, modern flooring, upgraded appliances, stylish countertops, and freshly renovated bathrooms with new vanities.



• A spacious covered area beneath the home provides the perfect setting for family gatherings.



• Brand-new flooring extends throughout the home.



• The fully equipped and newly updated kitchen includes everything you need in your home away from home. The dining table seats six, with three additional barstools at the counter.



• A full-size washer and dryer are conveniently located inside the home.



• The home is equipped with Smart TVs ready for use with your personal streaming accounts (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). Please note: There is no cable or satellite service.



• The first bedroom features a queen-size bed and twin bunk beds. (*children ages 6 and under are not advised to access the top bunk)



• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed.



• The third bedroom also includes a queen-size bed. (Access to this room requires walking through another bedroom.)



• The fourth bedroom features a queen-size bed along with a twin daybed and trundle.



• Enjoy a charcoal grill and a custom-built picnic table for outdoor dining.



• A full-size bathroom is located underneath the home for added convenience.

Best House Rental!

Roundhouse Retreat was an amazing place to stay. Rooms are spacious and the house is clean. Chill space under the house is awesome with nostalgic lighting! The dock on the water was a great little fishing spot to relax. Over all this space was great and we will def be back!

Peaceful retreat

Our stay at this lovely get a way was just what my family needed. It was very peaceful and relaxing. The house was equipped with everything you would need. Just buy your groceries and your set. Not only did us humans love this place but so did our pups. It is the best place we have rented so far. The only improvement would be to get the elevator fixed to put luggage and groceries on. This our home away from home from now on. Husband and Son loved the fishing. Daughter and I and the dogs just layed back and enjoyed the deck above and the patio below with the peaceful view of the bay. We even saw dolphins swimming by. Thank you for letting us stay a week in your beautiful peaceful retreat.

It was everything we could of asked for. Location is perfect and a very short drive to the beach. We did a lot of fishing and even caught a shark. Would definitely recommend.

Roundhouse review

We had a great time at the Roundhouse in Ft Morgan. There was plenty of room for everyone, a fabulous view of the bay, so quiet & peaceful. We were able to bring our dog & he had a blast exploring the area. We saw dolphins playing right in front of the house. Cranes & pelicans stopped by the dock to say hi. I highly recommend & would definitely stay here again!

We could not ask for a better place!! We came down with our family which consisted of 5 teenage boys;) having the ability to fish, swim, sunbath, and have a fire at night all in one place was a life saver!! We would recommend this place for any type of vacation!!! We will be back often!!

Beautiful Views!!!!

Had such a wonderful experience on a spring trip that our family will not forget. The house had everything that we needed for our family and friends. Bedrooms were comfortable and common areas were spacious and perfectly set up. The dock and yard were heavily used by the kids and adults as we swam, played horseshoes and just lounged around. We will definitely be back to enjoy another time at this property.

The house was comfortable for a family Thanksgiving holiday. The view is wonderful. It was a bit cold so we didn’t get to utilize the wraparound porch or the downstairs gathering area but they looked very welcoming. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing our Thanksgiving dinner. The only complaint was the slow internet/wifi - a lot of buffering was occurring while we were watching football.

RELAXATION

Had a great time relaxing and escaping the world for a week. Place was wonderful and had plenty of parking and outdoor activities both at the outside deck, lower deck and the dock. We enjoyed making a camp fire with the kids and watching them fish and play around the dock. The house had plenty of bedrooms and the bathrooms were clean and modernized. The kitchen was large with plenty of space for having a family dinner at the large table and counter space. Televisions in each room allowed us to watch football while the kids watched their shows in the other rooms. What a great experience for our family and truly a scenic and quiet time.

Beautiful Sunrise and Sunsets

Had such a wonderful time at the Roundhouse Retreat viewing the sunrise/sunset from the dock. The house was in exceptional shape with a spacious kitchen and new appliances. The bedrooms were nicely-sized and the beds were comfortable with excellent pillows and linens. Very clean and well taken care of in all aspects. The upper deck provides such a great view of the water at all times of the day. The lower deck with ceiling fans and decorative lights was a perfect place to get out of the afternoon sun. We enjoyed laying out on the dock and swimming around that dock area. We also drove down the road to public beach that is less than two miles from the house. So beautiful. Would definitely recommend for a calming and relaxing vacation in the sun.

Overall loved our stay at Round House retreat on the Bay. Outside area was beautiful with bay view, dock and sand beach. Quiet with neigbors on one side. Great central location to groceries, restaurants and activities. Kitchen well stocked. Appliances somewhat dated, but worked well. Itrip very responsive to couple minor issues. Only drawback was uncomfortable beds, and would have used grill more, if it waa a gas grill.

Round House on the bay

We enjoyed our stay at the round house. The view was great. It could have been much better if there was comfortable seating on the deck to sit and enjoy the view. The outdoor furniture is worn and no comfortable seating anywhere outside. The beds were okay but not great. The house was clean and for the most part in good condition. We did have to call maintenance and they came out very quickly. The Round House is a nice place to stay if you enjoy being out away from everything. The main downfall is the stairs. It is not good for elderly or disabled. There is only one neighbor and the house is very close. Otherwise, nice place.

Roundhouse Retreat

The property was Beautiful! So relaxing to be there. Pros: Plenty of room - large rooms - not cramped Large kitchen. We never ran into each other while cooking Plenty of cooking utensils Large living/dining area. This was so nice Flooring is easy to clean There is a nice large dust mop for the large areas Great pier for fishing A great blue heron was a daily visitor Large outside area to explore the habitat Plenty of outside seating House was clean except for the dog hairs in the placemats The house is structurally sound. Plenty of bath towels Great views in every room Plenty of silverware PLENTY of pretty plates/bowls. This was great since I don't prefer paper plates Plenty of pillows Washer/dryer worked great. We did 2-3 loads per day Fishing all you want. Cons: Biggest Con: No safe swimming!! Somehow, I didn't see that there are alligators and sharks near the shore. Since I rented this place so my grandsons could swim any time they wanted, this was a huge disappointment. Oven doesn't heat accurately - AT ALL. I cooked a pan of brownies for 1 1/2 hours and they still weren't done. Should have taken 20 minutes. Oven door doesn't shut all the way unless you stand there and hold it closed Pans for cooking are in horrible shape. The only decent ones were a dutch oven, a stock pot, and a 1 quart sauce pan. Beds are SO squeaky! Mattresses need to be replaced. The flooring in the house is a bit weird. I'm sure the plan was a cheap total replacement but you get what you pay for. The flooring is curling some. Some guest didn't put the water pad up correctly and it is moldy The posts in the water near the pier prohibited successful fishing out towards the bay since the fishing lines could get wrapped around the posts when reeling in a fish. You should cut those off. Bottom line: We won't be returning.

Great location but cheap

We loved the location and always enjoy renting houses in this area on the bay. However, the lack of amenities was shocking and would keep us from returning. There weren't any trashbags provided (only the one in the trashcan), only one paper towel roll, no cleaning spray (made it impossible to clean up after cooking), the cheapest bars of soap...no hand soap and no soap at all on the kitchen. The mattress was so bad we tried out different beds hoping it was just the one we picked but they were all bad. I've never stayed at a rental that was so poorly stocked. Very unwelcoming.

Enjoyed our stay at Roundhouse on 280

Wonderful place for a quiet retreat for our group of elderly cousins. The house was very comfortable and roomy enough for a relaxed stay. Management was very responsive to our needs/concerns. While there were very few negatives I would still like to share them with you. Bedroom 3 and 4 were advertised as two separate bedrooms that shared a bath. In truth, that fourth bedroom is attached to bedroom three and there is no egress from that room other than through bedroom 3. Same for the bathroom. It is in bedroom 4 and guests in bedroom 3 have to enter bedroom 4 to access that shared bathroom. Did not like that at all! We loved the two walk in showers and would suggest that handicap bars be placed in every shower/tub for safety of guests. We could never get main television to work. While that will likely be a problem for future guests it was not a problem for our group…allowed us a more enjoyable time to visit. No doubt, mattresses on all beds could be better and likely need to be upgraded. We would consider a future rental for this property.

Peaceful and Perfect

Check in was easy. Property was exceptional. We took canoes, a hammock, and bikes. It was perfect for relaxing watching the dolphins and fish in the water by the fire or from the dock or porches and/or enjoying a short canoe ride with them. The house was spacious and cozy. I loved the layout. The only minor negative I have to say is that the beds themselves are not real comfy and very loud/squeaky if you move in them at night. I move a lot in my sleep so it was a bit annoying to my spouse. But, the beds were nothing we couldn’t deal with considering all of the other fantastic pleasures of the property. It was a fantastic trip. I hope to get to stay at this property again someday.

House fine needs upgrading

Appliances did not work well Lift up to house needs to be operational as we had a handicap person and the stairs were very difficult for her Boat lift needs to be working as well Spend a good amount of money on a place and you expect it to be up to code and everything working right Need instructions in book as to how to get to places and also where things are in house ( DVD player etc) Also cleaning not very good in house there was al sorts of fur and stuff under trundle bed and dead bugs in corners
