House was beautiful and clean. We enjoyed the house amenities and cool mountain air. Host was easily accessible and eager to assist if anything came up during our stay. Wifi connectivity was great!
Beautiful place! Very clean, filled with amenities, and gorgeous view! Would love to come again!

From the owner: "Hello Roxanne, thank you for the positive review. The feeling is mutual - we would love to have you as a guest again. There was a huge hickory tree near the porch upstairs. It was not healthy and it needed to be removed. Now you can see stars and fireflies from the porch, so we hope you come back and check it out."
Very beautiful mountain home. Exceptional-amenities, great location. Lots of privacy.
Entire family enjoyed our visit. The home is decorated nicely, stocked with everything needed. Great location with lots to do in area. Highly recommend for friends or family getaway.

Hi Julie, the homeowner would like to share the following: "Thank you so much! We appreciate the kind words, and we'd love for you to come back again anytime!"
We had a great stay and have decided the location is perfect for us. Asheville is under 30 minutes drive and nearby Waynesville is a great place to spend the day. Access to hiking and scenic views on the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway is under 30 minutes drive as well. The cabin itself is beautifully decorated and the layout is perfect for our family. The kids love the "VIP room" downstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub with a view of the mountains. We have stayed here twice now and plan to come back next year.

Great stay!
We enjoyed our stay. This house is in a neighborhood, but very private. Our family was very comfortable staying here. We had 7 adults and two babies. Not too far from some great hiking, awesome outlooks to the mountains and a few waterfalls, and plenty of shopping and eating a short drive from the house. We took time to enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit outside. The house had everything we needed. Loved the layout and all the games available. Definitely recommend! I would say we would be back, but we never like to stay in the same place twice - too many places to visit;-)

Beautiful view!
The house was lovely! It was clean and well appointed. There is pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. My family loved the board games (many to choose from) and the games in the garage. The only negative is that there could have been more hand towels for the bathrooms. Also, some cloths to wash dishes with other than the one sponge.

Response from VrboOwner on 1 July 2024
From the Owner: "Hello Jamie, thank you for the nice review. We are glad you had a good time at the house. I have made a note of your feedback and will be sure to provide extra hand towels and more dishcloths going forward. Happy trails!"
Waynesville was put under a winter storm warning the day before we arrived and the hosts allowed us to come a day early. We were traveling from a couple different locations so this really saved us from driving in bad weather in an unfamiliar place. We are so grateful for their generosity! The house is absolutely beautiful and had everything we could have needed! Since we were stuck inside a little longer than planned we really appreciated how well stocked it was and all of the games they provided! 10/10 would recommend!!
This is a lovely cabin for a convenient getaway. It was about 15 minutes from Waynesville and 5 minutes from the highway to Asheville. When we arrived, checking in via the keypad on the door was simple. The cabin itself was very clean when we arrived. Our kids loved staying in the downstairs bedroom with bunk beds and a TV. We took advantage of the foosball table and darts as well. The kitchen was stocked with all of the pans, dishes and utensils we needed for preparing meals. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back again.

This is our second year staying at the big blue house. It never disappoints. The house is beautiful. Everything is always so clean and tidy. There are always a few surprises hiding out the house, such as the speaker in the kitchen, the family board games in the living room, the amazing body wash and shampoo in the bathrooms that smell amazing. The outside view is breath taking beautiful. The host has been so good to us each and every time we have visited. This house has really spoiled us and has set the bar extremely high for any other vacation that we take. I can’t wait to return again next year for our third stay.

Relaxing in the trees
This rental is on the side of mountain so it feels like you are up in the trees. Your own quiet treehouse. CLEAN, spacious, and well stocked rental. The amenities and house are described very well by host. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is about 5 minutes from the main road. So if you want action you have to go to it. If you want a retreat it is perfect. The kitchen is very well stocked with all the appliances, gadgets, cookware that you would need. FYI: there is no disposal. Beds were comfortable. All bedrooms had some type of drawer space. Two large closets in 2 of the bedrooms. 2 bedrooms no closets. Bathrooms were clean with lots of towels. Sitting areas were comfortable with good lighting. Lots of board games, puzzles and card games. In the garage was a pickle ball court, corn hole, foozeball, and darts. We did take advantage of the hot tub; however , a little cool to enjoy porch. We did not use fire pit but also a great touch. Driveway is steep along with road leading to house. If snowy I would think a 4wD would be a must. Host reached out to us numerous times before and towards end of our stay. Very easy to work with and very accommodating to our schedule. If we are back in the area , we would definitely stay again.
