My husband & I brought our 16 yr old son for a family vacation….the cabin was very cozy and welcoming, in a quiet, wooded area with other cabins, but landscape allowed for privacy without feeling of total seclusion. The location was within easy driving distance to larger cities with major attractions, and close to smaller towns with local attractions and sights. It was perfect!

GREAT PLACE!

We had a short weeked trip to make for my husband to compete in the Blairsville Highland Games about 30 minutes away. This was an awesome cozy cabin to stay at and the hot tub was perfect for him to unwind in after a day long competition. Our 6 year old enyjoyed seeing the wildlife (deer and a hawk) and loved the upstairs loft area. We will definitely keep this place at the top of the list when we visit the area again.

40th wedding anniversary

40th wedding anniversary We were originally scheduled to visit Punta Gorda, Florida but the hurricane changed those plans. Our stay at bumblebee cottage was very cozy and relaxing. The only problem we had was a power surge on the day before we were supposed to leave. The surge took out the whale and we had no water for the last day and a half of our stay. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

Cute little cottage away from it all

We had a great stay at the bumblebee cottage! It was a perfect little getaway for our family. Loved that we could bring our pup with us, she’s small so it was the perfect little yard for her. It’s definitely away from all the hustle and bustle so that was nice to just have peace and quiet. It was a drive wherever we went but we expected that. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing stay at the Bumblebee Cabin. The property was exactly as pictured. This is probably one of the most “stocked” VRBOs we have ever stayed at. Anything we needed the cabin had, which made our stay much more enjoyable! Thank you to the owners for opening up their home to us!

Relaxing Cabin

Our intention on this trip was to get away from the stress of Atlanta traffic for a few days. This cute cabin in the woods achieved that and more. It was well appointed with everything we needed to relax after a day of driving through the North Carolina mountains. Our host could not have been kinder or more accommodating. Overall a very pleasant trip.
