We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was exceptionally clean and very well laid out, making it comfortable and easy to enjoy as a family. The loft space was perfect for the kids and gave them their own area, which was a huge bonus. Having access to a washing machine and dryer was incredibly convenient and made our stay even more enjoyable. The hot tub was an added bonus and the perfect way to relax after a long day. Snow removal was always prompt, which gave us great peace of mind during winter conditions. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
Communication was top notch from the moment we booked. Welcome pamphlet with info on things like the hot tub and tv/cable use and local stores/restaurants/emergency services was nice to have. The property manager also left us a nice little gift of a bottle of wine upon arrival which was a sweet touch. We were looking for a nice quiet weekend away and this was the perfect place for it!
This was a great place to stay near Marmora. The cottage had everything we needed for a long weekend. Tucked in the trees near the Crowe river. Will return again!

Looking for an insta-worthy spot for your next girls weekend or bachelorette party? Look no further! This place had everything we needed from linens and bakeware to a hot tub and cute photo-ops. Also super close (walking distance) to Crowe River Conservation area which was so nice. Would definitely stay here again!
I booked this place for Canada day weekend with my sister and two cousins and I had the absolute best stay! The place was the perfect size and it could not be more beautiful! The area surrounding the property itself was beautiful and not to mention the inside of the house was even better! 10/10 would recommend booking this place!

Beautiful home nestled in the woods. My family and I were in the area for a wedding, so weren’t able to spend much time at the property. The beds were comfortable and the house to have everything we needed.
Cottage was nice with all the amenities one could need. Added bonus was the hot tub to relax in. Everything was neat and clean. It's fairly close to most attractions with a Crowe bridge conservation area just behind it with a neat little waterfall.
Hosts are very responsive and super to deal with.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Small air-conditioned cottage with loft on a private piece of property. Hotel quality linens in bedroom and bath. Good communication with the property owner.
Had a fantastic time at this property. It’s private, lots of space and perfect for a getaway from this busy city life. One thing I could say is the mattress are not the most comfortable for sleeping but overall no complaints. Would return!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this cute and well kept cottage.
The hosts were kind and communicative, the hot tub was in good condition, and the area was easy to access. We had a lot of fun and it included all of the utilities you would need to make this an enjoyable, easy getaway.
The only thing is that we had to clean a few of the dishes when we took them out to cook food, as the guests who used it before us did not do a thorough enough job.
Overall - would highly recommend and would go back!
If you are into glamping (glamorous camping), this place has all the amenities. Nice little touches like board games (Risk anyone?) and books in the upstairs book case make this pretty little cottage a definite must see. Our son loved the hot tub and there is even a fire pit for the traditional campers who may wish to roast marshmallows and sing songs. This place has everything including air conditioning and a fully functioning kitchen and ice cube machine.

Thank you so much Lisa. You and your family were wonderful. We would love to have you visit us again. And please let us know if we can improve your experience in any way.
I stayed here with my 5 old year son while we were visiting with family.
The cottage was turn key and had everything we needed or wanted as far as linens, towels, dishes, pots/pans, modern TV etc. The hot tub was small but clean and easy to use. We made use of the bbq, fire pit and lawn area for games.
We also walked over to the Crowe Bridge conservation area which was just two doors down and $5 admission. It was a very pretty spot with the river cascading over the flat rocks that you can walk out on.
Communication with the owner was met with a prompt response every time and I was made to feel welcome to reach out to them at any time throughout my stay.
This is a charming property just a short walk from Crow Bridge Conservation Area. My friend and I visited with our kids, who spent hours swimming! We really enjoyed the hot tub at the house, and the decor was lovely. The kitchen was well-equipped with essentials, and the island made a perfect gathering spot.
However, a few areas are beginning to show signs of wear, such as a broken stair spindle, a broken curtain rod, and some holes in the floor. The property could have been cleaned more thoroughly before our arrival; we noticed dusty light fixtures over the island and grease splatters on the back of the stove. Additionally, the shower dispenser was empty of shampoo and body soap.

Hi Kim,
Thank you for your review. I’d like to clarify a few points for your understanding:
- The small holes you mentioned in the floors are actually ventilation vents for the crawl space, a common feature in cottages like ours. This method helps to maintain proper air circulation. This information can be googled for further clarification.
- Regarding the shampoo and body soap, a nearly full 900 ml bottle is provided on the shower caddy next to the shower. It’s unfortunate that it was overlooked, and I wish you had reached out so I could have assisted you in locating it.
- The curtain rod you mentioned wasn’t broken but rather an extendable rod that had simply come loose. It was easily fixed in seconds.
- As for the light fixtures, while they are high up and sometimes challenging to clean thoroughly without a ladder, we appreciate your feedback and will ensure they receive extra attention.
I’d also like to offer some feedback to help make your future stays more enjoyable:
- Please inform your host if you accidentally break anything during your stay, as this allows for timely replacements for our next guests .
- It’s important to communicate with your host if you need to extend your stay beyond the checkout time, rather than assuming it’s okay.
- Lastly, please flush toilets after use as it’s very impolite to leave your business for the hosts to clean up.
Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope you had an otherwise pleasant stay.
My husband and I spent a quiet 5 night stay at this cute little cottage conveniently located close to the crowe bridge conservation area, and less than 15 min from Cambellford. We had terrible weather and there was a massive power outtage in the area when we checked in, however the owners were fantastic with communication until power was restored. I gave the cleanliness rating only 4 stars since we had a few creepy crawlies every day in the washroom - likely a result of all the rain in the area, but rest of cottage was fine. If there was anything I would recommend for the owners to make the cottage a touch more comfortable would be to get some furniture thats less "house staging" and more suitable for relaxing in. (Again we spent maybe more time than most in the sitting area due to the storms that week!). We enjoyed ourselves very much, selection of board games and kitchwn stuff was a nice touch.
