Suite 111 - 1BR Apartment | 1 Bed, 1 Bath

The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Owners are avid hikers and mountain bikers who have lived in the area their entire lives. Happy to help get you pointed in the right direction.

The Sojourn Vacation Rentals and Flats offers modern, fully furnished flats in Rapid City, SD. Rooms include a kitchen with a full refrigerator, microwave, cooktop and dishwasher. They also include a living space and private bedroom. There is a patio available for guest’s relaxation and enjoyment.

The Sojourn is conveniently located for travelers looking to visit Mt. Rushmore, the Black Hills, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Sturgis, and more. This property is nonsmoking and no pets.

The kitchenettes are perfect for the vacationer or longer term out of town employee who needs some local housing. Located on Mt. Rushmore Road. 1.5 miles to downtown Rapid City, 26 miles to Mt. Rushmore. Local hiking and biking trail heads as close as .5 miles from property. Great selection of restaurants and stores in walking distance. .75 miles from Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Notes

We use the KeyCafe automated check in system so you can arrive anytime after 3pm.  The booking code and instructions will be sent via txt and email on the day of arrival.  Of course, we are happy to assist!  If we aren't on the property when you arrive we are near by.

Great Location

The Sojourn is a great place to stay while in Rapid City! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. Check-in (and out) was super easy using my phone. No hassle at all. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. This location makes it easy to get wherever you're going -- quick to get to the highway. We visited the Badlands, Custer State Park, Wind Cave, and Spearfish Canyon all while staying here. There is a grocery store very nearby and MANY restaurants and gas stations, so everything is close. I would recommend The Sojourn to my friends or family, and I would definitely stay here again!

Not the best neighborhood in Rapid City. Although close to many decent restaurants. The beds are only full size, not queen. Too small for 2 adults. The couch was filthy. We'll find a different place on our next trip to Rapid City.
