Helen’s Cottage is nestled in a private, secure property and is surrounded by parkland. There is wheelchair access to the cottage via a ramp from the driveway and disability aids should they be required.
This two-bedroom cottage provides the perfect home away from home for your carefree Mornington Peninsula getaway. Ideally located on the Mornington Peninsula’s Westernport Bay area, opposite French Island, it is an hour from the CBD using Eastlink/Peninsula Link.
Close to swimming and surf beaches, local marinas, famous boutique wineries, award winning restaurants, farm-gate shops, antique stores, open-air markets, and so many more attractions that the region has to offer.
The cottage is a spacious, modern, fully self-contained accommodation with two good sized bedrooms containing luxurious queen size beds. The main living area has a TV and DVD together with a selection of DVD’s, books etc; for those just wanting to chill out. A beautiful leather lounge suite will add to the enjoyment and a very comfortable dining area for your breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need to cook your own meals should you prefer to have a night off from visiting the award-winning restaurants which are abundant in the area. There is gas ducted heating throughout as well as reversal cycle heating and cooling in the main living area.
The bathroom and toilet are disability friendly with walk in shower, and disability aids such as shower chair or toilet seat if required.
There are BBQ facilities available on the front deck overlooking the beautiful, peaceful gardens as well as a comfortable outdoor area to sit should you prefer to sit outside with your meal.
With the advent of the COVID-19 virus, we adhere to all cleaning and sanitation standards as set out by the Department of Health & Human Services ensuring your stay is as safe as possible. We offer contactless access to adhere to social - distancing guidelines should you prefer.
