We thoroughly enjoyed family time in sunny lounge room with three way views. The master bedroom was beautifully laid out. We could walk to Berrima’s shops, bakerys restaurants and bush/river walks. It was short drive to Retford Park and Bowral’s shops and restaurants. As we left ten King Parrots were busy eating in the tree above us. Perfect holiday escape.

Thank you for your lovely review! We're so happy to hear you enjoyed the sunny lounge with its views and that the master bedroom made your stay extra comfortable. It’s great that you were able to explore Berrima and the surrounding area — and what a special send-off with the King Parrots! Sounds like a truly perfect escape. We’d love to welcome you back anytime.
Overall the property was very neat and tidy. Very close to shops and facilities. We would highly recommend this property. The only issues were, chipped plates, the cups and glassware were an odd mix from the op shop. Also the carparking was out the front the property and carrying bags up hill was not great.
We found the cottage conveniently located to the Berrima Village. Although it is quaint, it does require some attention, particularly to the garden (lots of weeds & dead plants in the pot at the door) and the upstairs bed linen needs refreshing. The downstairs accommodation was very dark and gloomy. We stayed in the upstairs section which was comfortably furnished. There was a shortage of mugs (only3) and they required a good scrub. The bathroom was adequate, but body lotion and a packet containing shower cap and vanity items would be appreciated. There were no tissues. The one hairdryer was found downstairs. The welcome bottle of wine was lovely. Overall, we were reasonably happy with our stay but did feel it was expensive for the 3 days. With a good refresh, clean carpets, tidy exterior, it could be lovely.
