Summary:

Enjoy views of gum studded hills with grazing horses and kangaroos, and unwind under the shade of gum trees.
The Space:
Gums n Roses by Tiny Away is one of Macclesfield's peaceful holiday homes, just 43 minutes drive away from the nearest Adelaide accommodation. Nearby Strathalbyn, Mount Barker, Warrawong Wildlife Sanctuary, and Hahndorf. Comida Hahndorf and Hahndorf Hill Winery are some of the few attractions in the Hahndorf area.
This farm stay South Australia getaway is the perfect family staycation for vacationers with a queen-sized bed up in the loft and a couch, which can be converted into a single bed on the ground floor.
A cozy 190-square-foot tiny home with rainwater as a source of water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste-holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas-heated for hot showers).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please advise that we have riding lessons and horse training that may take place nearby on occasion. If you're interested, please contact your host 24 hrs in advance.
Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny home and its surrounding areas, except the land host's private residence and fenced garden.
NOTICE TO ALL GUEST: If you're booking for a group, Rosewood Mac is approximately 60 meters away from the second tiny house which is Gums N Roses (situated 50 meters away from the shed) available with 24 hours' notice in advance. Our holiday homes offer an authentic countryside experience that’s perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime.
As an added note, as of May 1, 2025, guests will need to bring their own firewood if they want to use the firepit.
