We loved staying in the property in Custer SD. It's located above a yummy candy store in the center of Custer, close to all the nature we traveled to see. The apartment was clean, cozy and quaint. We all highly recommend the property!
This was a great spot for our time in the Black Hills. Our family lived the location, being in the center of town and preferred this location to where we have stay before in Hill City.
We stayed for a week and had a great time
The apartment is clean and well stocked with everything you could want or need including a keepsake cup
Custer is a great little town to see Crazy horse and Mount Rushmore
Cheers to our host

Peaceful
Owner was very attentive and knowledgeable about the area, peaceful location, would definitely stay there again.
This was an awesome furnished apartment for us! The 3 bedrooms were perfect! Our grandchildren were each able to have their own bedroom. The stocked kitchen with dishes, pots and pans were great for making our own food. This place was a wonderful place to relax each morning and evening. We spent the days out exploring the area.

This apartment was great. It was nice to be right in downtown and we were able to walk to eat or shop. It also was very clean and nice.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Walking distance to food and shopping anytime of day. Great furniture, beds were great, kitchen was roomy and well stocked, bathroom was roomy with an awsome claw foot tub.
Plenty to do in town with museums and rodeo
To name a few. Short drive to yellowstone.
We liked the location, walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and shops. Check-in was seamless. Apartment is comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the proximity to Custer State Park where we enjoyed off season hiking and siteseeing. We really enjoyed the location, close to all the sites.
The description is exactly what we found during our visit here. The beds and bathroom were clean and the kitchen was also in good order. We loved the location and being able to walk all around town and hike up to the top of the hill to start every morning. My only complaint was the faux antique bath tub which fit the decor but wasn't the most convenient to get into and out of. Will definitely stay here again.

The rating wouldn’t allow me to choose one star, for check-in, which I would’ve given a one. I did not get instructions in time for check in. I was given a reply 3 days into my stay. The VRBO company helped with check in. You cannot beat the location of this VRBO. Would rent again!!!!
My family and I truly enjoyed staying in the apartment. Very close to the president monument and crazy horse. We were practically in the middle of the town ... everything we needed was a short walk. Thank you for an awesome experience.
As the title says, location, location, location. We walked to most meals and took in many local attractions with short drives. 25 steps to enter this quaint apartment.
What a perfect location! we had to arrive early because of the early April snow storm. Jerry was super accommodating. The apartment was sufficiently furnished and we had no problem keeping warm. The location is great. Not far from the Monuments and Parks. We were not disappointed. Best regards Jerry.
The place is great…the only draw back is the only source of air conditioning is the window unit in the living room. The bedrooms are pretty warm at night even with doors open. Admittedly the building is old and the location was great for what we wanted to see and do.

Wonderful Accommodations!
Sisters trip to Custer. We LOVED our apartment which had everything we needed. Living area is large. Kitchen is stocked. Quiet at night. We loved the fact that just out the door was the Main Street. Center of the coffee shops, restaurants and breakfast areas. All within walking distance. Jerry and his team were wonderful to visit with. He recommended many wonderful places to eat. This was our first time to Custer. We definitely would come back again!
Our stay overall was good, it’s hard to beat the location. Having the main street so close made walking around and exploring very convenient. Check-in and check-out was smooth, which we appreciate. The only downside was how inaccessible the stairs and shower are. Although we navigated the stairs just fine, I can see how for other folks with mobility issues may find them extremely difficult. My aging parents struggled with using the claw tub shower - in fact one of them did not use it at all because they did not feel stable enough to use it. The liner also needs to be replaced, it’s moldy. If the shower was a standard shower then we’d happily come back to stay again, unfortunately this will be a one time place for us.
