We had a wonderful stay at this house. It had beautiful views from the main living room, qnd is in a great area to get to everything quickly. We woukd definitely stay here again! The only complaint is it could have been a little bit cleaner, and theres some basic quick maintenance that needs to be done. Overall a great stay!
The views were amazing. The beds were very comfortable! The kitchen was well appointed with plenty of things to use to cook. The only reason for a 4 rating was because there weren't 5 comfortable places to sit inside, another comfortable chair would have made a difference. Overall it was wonderful!
Very nice and comfortable house with awesome views. If coming in winter months would definitely want to have a 4WD or AWD vehicle since road leading to house is steep in parts and has lots of potholes.
Cabin was very clean! Perfect location, right down the road from grocery store but was already stocked with essential’s like cereal, coffee and milk. Very quiet location and the beds were very comfortable! Great stay!
This home had tons of space, great view, comfortable beds, convenient to all sights and hikes. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We were appreciative of better quality pillows. Great stay.
This property was wonderful. The only thing I would suggest is to leave instructions for the furnace. The basement was quite cold, at night, so our friends were not comfortable down there. We eventually did figure it out but would be a suggestion for next guests. The property manager was VERY responsive and polite.Thank you!
Decent rental but it had very little offerings to.make us feel welcome. Old towels, dirty windows, no napkins and no extra paper towel, etc…. A good supply of coffee pods. Only 2 chairs on the deck.
Evolve Management was great to work with- details were straight forward and communication was timely.
The house was perfect! Gorgeous views of the Cook Inlet and quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!
We were so thrilled with our stay in Mtn View Anchorage Escape. The house was exactly as described (first time this ever happened). The place was clean and very comfortable. And the view was unbelievably beautiful. I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it.
The house was exactly as described. We loved the view. There were just a few issues. The beds were very comfy. Down stairs flooded twice and we had to wash several loads of towels and bath rugs. We did communicate with property manager who was extremely friendly and apologetic. He promised a refund of some sort but never received.
It exceeded our expectations!! Love the views, the space, the comfortable rooms, clean, great for families!!! We had no issues but were concerned because emails or texts were not answered except for one. But at the end of the day, during our stay absolutely no issues or need to contact our host. Just wish we could have had better communication before leave to Alaska.
Overall, this property was fantastic. The views were spectacular and made for a wonderful Alaskan getaway. It was close to town/restaurants/shopping/activities but felt remote and well away from crowds. Definitely agree with the recommendation for an AWD drive to get up to the house and up the driveway--it was still a little snowy/icy when we were there and definitely needed our SUV to get up there. The only reason to not give 5 stars was some cleanliness issues. There were leftover underwear in one of the bathrooms on our arrival. Also found very old/chunky coffee that was left in the microwave. Otherwise, the home was beautiful and had everything that we needed. Would highly recommend staying here for an Alaskan vacation!
This rental had absolutely amazing views! If the weather was clear, you could even see Denali off in the distance. But, even on cloudy days, you could see lots of mountains, stunning sunsets and sunrises, and Anchorage lights in the distance. Even though the views were amazing and the location was private, it wasn't far from the city. We could get almost anywhere we wanted to go within 20 mins. Added bonuses were being able to get food and groceries delivered and having a Sleep Number bed!
A property within close access to all Anchorage amenities and a nice elevated location on a hill providing great westward views.
The issues only come from the property's maintenance and cleanliness. Dirty laundry was left in the drier (wet), and the washing machine was rather smelly, presumably from laundry being frequently forgotten in it.
Items like laundry detergent, soap, etc., were provided, but remarkably, every single bottle was empty. Trash bags were also too small to fit the cans in the house.
Overall, it is a great property that simply needs to step up maintenance to correspond to the price & cleaning fees charged.

could have been cleaner
The place was very dusty and there was hair on the floor - so I don't think the attention to detail when cleaning was done. The highchair was full of crusted on food. We did have an issue with the shower handle getting stuck on and that was rectified VERY fast and the highchair was cleaned at that time because I had mentioned it previously. Garbage day was on our check out day and the cans were in a trailer on the property, the trailer was full of garbage bags from other guests. I let the property manager know I could not get to the cans because of all the garbage bags and he said do not worry about it as they didn't know when the garbage pick up day was, the check in book said Thursday. The property manager said he would give me a cleaning credit which I do not know if that happened but I never asked for it, I just wanted to let him know that the place needs to be cleaner upon move in. He did not want a bad review and this isn't a bad review but I would make sure to ask the place to be clean prior to your arrival. The house is very nice and spacious and we even had a Moose visit right up to the windows and he hung out for 45 minutes just munching on all the trees. Very nice place! When I originally booked it this was through VRBO and it was switched to Evolve after I booked. I had not worked with Evolve before but I think you just need to make extra contact with them. The place was very nice though and the manager was attentive once we arrived.
