Summary:

The Drift House is a homely retreat in the beautiful town of Dunsborough. Family-friendly and the perfect spot to call home for your holiday, the house is set up with all the creature comforts you will need for your time away. It is a brilliant place for families to entertain, relax on the couch with a good book, and enjoy the shores of the most beautiful local beaches. The property is set in a quiet neighbourhood, located one street from the beach.

The Space:

Suitable for couples and families, it has plenty of space, a fireplace and air conditioning, and an enclosed grassed front and back yard. It is fully furnished, with linen and extras, a large master bedroom and an ensuite. The other three bedrooms and the fourth room with day bed have a separate full-sized bathroom and WC.

You'll feel space as you walk into the property and love the open plan dining and kitchen area with the afternoon sunlight streaming in. This area flows onto the neat alfresco and lawn area out the side. Four bedrooms and the fifth master bedroom with a private ensuite are at the front of the house, plus a shared bathroom and separate WC and laundry.

The living area is spacious and features a large screen TV which you can enjoy in the comfort of a luxurious lounge or hideaway on the sheltered balcony that faces north - a fantastic spot to read in the salt air and sunshine.

Its all about the coffee

Whether you prefer your morning with an oat milk flat white or lean to a double espresso, The Drift House has you covered.

Setup with the Breville Dual Boiler Coffee Machine, Breville Smart Grinder & Nespresso pod machine you’ll be in safe hands if new to making coffee or a professional barista.

You will be provided with biodegradable & compostable coffee pods & freshly roasted coffee beans by local coffee roasters Margaret River Roasting Co.

You are well located at this holiday home to explore the beaches and iconic attractions of the greater Margaret River region. Stroll, swim and kayak at Quindalup beach, cycle along the coastal path to the Toby Inlet footbridge or into town, sail at the Dunsborough Bay Yacht Club or relax.

The Neighborhood:

Over the road from Geographe Bay, local boat ramps, and easy access to the unique Margaret River food and wine region. The area boasts of local produce, boutique wine and beer, local artisans and artists and many natural attractions and experiences.

Some of note are fishing during the salmon season over Easter, watching the whale migrations, surfing the many surf breaks, riding through Meelup reserve. For the foodies breakfast & coffee at Merchant & Maker or Goanna Gallery or just coffee at Silver Bullet Espresso down at the Old Dunsborough boat ramp, lunch at Wild Hop Brewery or Eagle Bay Brewery and dinner at Snatch, Bayside Burger Bar or Yarri Restaurant depending on what you are feeling.

Getting Around:

Lots of flexibility having your own car, there are many options for bus tours, but local riding options are well worth trying out.

Drift House

Dishes were very dirty on arrival and we had to wash them before use . They had dried food like they hadn’t cleaned well in the dishwasher There were no dishwasher tablets on arrival, we had to purchase our own and tea towel's also, as the one’s supplied were grubby and ineffective The coffee machine had not been cleaned and still had dried out coffee grounds in the portafilter, so that was off putting Floors were dusty and there were dust bunnies throughout. One guest has asthma, so as the vacuum cleaner was not functioning too well, we swept the floors instead Couch & day bed had obvious signs of pets having been on them and were a bit grubby Netflix did not work & agent tried twice by phone to rectify, but it did not resolve the issue, and it was very disappointing to not be able to enjoy it while staying. Bathrooms and beds were clean, we were grateful for that although the blowflies that were found throughout were unwelcome guests The location was beautiful and enjoyable, however, for the price paid for our stay, too many things to mention did not give us value for money or make our stay very pleasant Also, we checked out Tuesday 21/11 at 9am
